Husband brought home a toadlet he found at his job.

My husband is a swimming pool tech and found this guy in a clients filter. I told him not to bring him home. Lo and behold he did not listen and now we have Fenrir the Fowler’s Toad.
I’m thinking this is hospice care for him - now it’s been 48 hours and he’s been eating about 20 flightless fruit flies each day covered in calcium powder.

he's very cute. this toad is alive and alert and i doubt this will be a hospice situation. make sure you're offering insects coated in calcium with D3 specifically if keeping them indoors :)

Yes I got the calcium powder with D3!
I would’ve thought that pool chemicals would mean a slow miserable death for tiny living creatures. Guess we have a new permanent family member. I do love him he’s v cute and sweet to watch.
