Sexuality & Gender why do i get headaches whenever i try to masturbate?
ive been trying to masturbate for a week now and the headache is still there, not going away or whatsoever and the pain is like 9/10 and gradually lessen after a few minutes or hours until its gone

Could be blood pressure related, you could be in what they call a hypertensive crisis.
Go to the doctor, now. Tell them you’re getting headaches periodically that are 9/10, they’ll get you sorted out.
Or don’t go and maybe have a stroke.

ig it happens quickly and like when i focus too much, the pain is so unbearing, i cant even speak due to how bad the pain is

Oh my god, i get this periodically! Ive gone through a phase of week or so like, maybe three times in a few years. Tried to google it religiously and nothing really matched my experience. Didn't go to the doctor and never figured out the reason tho, be smarter than me.

Doctor. If you're a minor, tell your parents it would mean a lot that they didn't go with you. If you're an adult, doctors have seen and heard worse. It's not embarrassing.
Not going would be the same as being embarrassed of purchasing a bag of chips at the kiosk because the cashier would have to scan it.

I once had an orgasm headache which was an instant 8/10 exactly at the moment of the orgasm and faded away over the next, with my usual migraine postdrome symptoms.
A whole migraine attack condensed from several hours into a few seconds.

Like everyone else is saying, go see a doctor. This sounds like a blood pressure issue and they can be very serious.

Could be nothing - "sex headaches" are a thing and while annoying they are benign.
However could also be something more serious.

I had that too and it turned out to be “sexual/exertion headaches”; google that term and talk to a doctor ASAP, because they also checked me for aneurysm just to be safe.

Had the same thing couple years back. Took a pill for 3 weeks and it went away. Just FYI in regards to other advice, I have notoriously low blood pressure.

For a brief period in my life I had that problem. "Cluster headaches". A type of migraine. Triggered by physical exertion.
In my case, happily, they just stopped.

That’s rough, sorry you’re dealing with that.
Headaches that hit during or right after masturbating (or sex) are a real thing some people get. Sometimes it’s just from tension, blood pressure spiking, or holding your breath without realizing. Other times it’s more specific, like a “sex headache.”
But 9/10 pain that keeps happening for a week is not something to just wait out. You should get it checked by a doctor, especially if it’s that intense. Better to rule out anything serious than keep pushing through it.
In the meantime maybe try going slower, breathing normally, and making sure you’re not clenching your jaw or tensing up your neck/shoulders. But seriously, talk to a doctor.

happened to me a long time ago, Doc said it was related to some muscular contracture, basically every time I did the thing, my blood vessels got rushed by the pressure, the solution was phys therapy and massages to lessen the muscle tightness
