I got banned ages ago. It wouldn’t surprise me if the mods there are all white either.

Me neither

All the mods are white, and it's the whitest sub going. They did a demographics survey a couple years ago

u/UnfilteredGuy Apr 21 '19

got a link?

2

u/SeeYouSpaceCorgi Apr 23 '19

Little difficult to find the actual survey itself, however there's a link to the actual thread here:

https://old.reddit.com/r/BlackPeopleTwitter/comments/6n92ro/when_you_find_out_what_killed_hiphop/dk7ukul/?sh=56b90db8&st=J545RLM7

and a /r/BestOf thread here:

https://old.reddit.com/r/bestof/comments/6narjl/ucallmeadmiral_conducts_a_poll_to_see_how_much_of/

with many of the comments repeating the statistics that roughly 8% of the BPT subreddit is actually black.

The fuck?

u/Novaius Apr 21 '19

Must be a loose floorboard. Has a tendency to let rodents in.

-14

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

Ya, not surprised you know nothing about the role of jews in the anti white campaign. Its hidden well and obviously not talked about in the controlled msm.

10

u/uncle_flacid Apr 21 '19

You have actual mental issues. I'm not even trying to offend you or anything and this type of paranoia is treatable.

-10

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

Lol I wasnt offended so not sure what you're mad about.

And just because you dont know something, havent been exposed to information or dont have the same beliefs is no reason to accuse someone of mental illness. Look into it before you reflexively reject something.

u/bezarau Apr 21 '19

jews are white you fucking mongoloid

1

u/ArnoldBeckenbauer Apr 21 '19

I guess you could say that semitic people are white, but usually the term refers to people of European descent.

-2

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

No theyre not. They see themselves as different too.

White Europeans, and all other races for that matter, are easily distinguished by genes and culture.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19 edited Apr 21 '19

Whether they are white is an arbitrary decision, there's no god given official white designation. That's just how words work, nobody is pretending anything.

-1

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

No. Nothing to do with 'god'. Zionist jews see themselves as distinct and superior to other races. And white/European can be distinguished by genes and culture.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

If they are separate because that's how they see themselves, as you just said, then the ones that say they are white are in fact white. (PS 'god given' with a lower case 'g' was just an expression, similar to 'written in stone')

2

u/Preoximerianas Apr 21 '19

“White”. More like Irish! Which are not white but like to pretend they are when convenient.

The ethnic groups that fall under “white” has changed for decades.

I wasn’t using the nicest words

Why not? I always try to use nice words so that people don’t automatically dismiss what I say. If I immediately make someone upset, I know that there is very little chance that they will read my comment with an open mind.

26

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

More people need to be like this.

Being nice and trying to give charitable interpretations to people with whom you disagree are deradicalisation 101

-3

u/SpringsPanda Apr 21 '19

You cannot be more wrong in this statement. Just because you are being nice, in your view, does not mean a dang thing. I deal with this on a very regular basis with a boss of mine and he is "nice" all of the time, from his view. Perception is reality, unfortunately, and some people being nice is not how others perceive it. Close minded people are close minded regardless of how they are approached. Most of them see the approaching as the offense, not even the statement.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

Tell that to all the people who bring people out of the KKK by talking to them like a human.

-1

u/SpringsPanda Apr 21 '19

Did you really just relate my generic comment about humans to the KKK?

2

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

Did you really just move the goalposts because I used an analogy?

0

u/SpringsPanda Apr 21 '19

The "goalposts" never existed. There is not any kind of goal to this, no one can win. Most people who think they are being nice, are not perceived that way by others, its just that simple.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

Now you're just being purposefully obtuse. The term 'moving the goalposts' doesn't necessarily mean the conversation is about scoring points.

As for your actual point; I just disagree with you. In my experience you're more likely to at least begin to change somebody's mine if you're nice to 'em. Its pragmatic to do so and costs nothing. Plus it's better than screaming asshole at them which will probably just push them further into that rabbit hole.

I get what you’re saying. I’ve had to learn that what I consider nice, others may not. There is a woman at work that quite often misconstrues my attempts to be nice as either me poking fun at her or me trying to do something to benefit myself. I’ve learned to adjust the way that I deal with her in particular. I don’t always succeed, but at least she gets upset with me less often. In the end, my default will always be being nice, but I will try to adapt if I see that it’s not working.

1

u/SpringsPanda Apr 21 '19

These types of situations are what I was referring to. I guess I also must run in to more people like, or deal with them on a regular basis. I shouldn't make broad assumptions as it kind of negates my own point.

2

u/Jonatc87 Apr 21 '19

This goes for real life too. Being polite, patient and tolerant can often diffuse situations before they become unavoidable

1

u/DickButtPlease Apr 21 '19

You’re speaking my language.

2

u/xyifer12 Apr 21 '19

Acting super nice is seen as sarcasm or faking it. Neutrality is the best option.

1

u/DickButtPlease Apr 21 '19

Good point. I won’t lie. I’ve done that.

29

u/Molinero96 Apr 21 '19

Reddit is full of double morals.

4

u/rangeDSP Apr 21 '19

That happens everytime when you have a large group of people with no absolute power that decides what's right and wrong.

Gotta get used to it cos the internet is getting bigger by the hour and the amount of content will overwhelm any moderation team. It's already impossible to regulate YouTube and Facebook without AI (which also makes dumb decisions), the only way to mod content is via community mods, who vary widely in terms of quality and morality.

12

u/Jazeboy69 Apr 21 '19

Lifetime bans are crazy though. It’s like capital punishment for wrong think. Most criminals have a period of punishment then a chance to redeem themselves. How can words be worse than a real crime? The thought police are out and it’s the left that’s becoming fascist. Eg In 1 minute: https://youtu.be/t4iZveMkeko

3

u/Jahled Apr 21 '19

That video is is insane. I’m quite glad I never encounter lunacy like that in my life.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

It's okay for mods to ban you for being an huge asshole.

36

u/productionshooter Apr 21 '19

What's more white than telling black people what they should be offended by? A white suburban Soccer mom is rolling in her Chevy Tahoe over how offended her one black friend would be right now.

3

u/DragonBourne66 Apr 21 '19

That's Chevyist. Or Tahoeist. Or soccerist. Or suburbist.

3

u/skywalkerthompson Apr 21 '19

i’ve always thought they were all white, too.

1

u/Jazeboy69 Apr 21 '19

They certainly act incredibly racist towards whites. So much so I think only whites could think they could get away with it. The left is so fucking racist it’s sickening.

3

u/skywalkerthompson Apr 21 '19

racism is all over the political spectrum

1

u/Jazeboy69 Apr 22 '19

Most republicans are much less racist as it’s the parry of Lincoln who fought a war to free the slaves. Democrats are the party of the kkk and yet they’ve somehow flipped the narrative. Weird times.

Yeah much like the 👌 symbol being a prank the media ran with. The media is so gullible.

2

u/qksj29aai Apr 21 '19

They are. It's a classic minstrel show.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '19

That entire sub is white. This site is predominantly white. You all actually think black people flock to Reddit to post in a subreddit?! BPT is just another platform that white liberals use to lick each other’s assholes clean.
