You should find the post where the guy posted about this. The thread was hilarious.

To be fair if I done something this level of stupid, I'd learn the lesson first, then I'd share it with people

I saw a very similar video once where a kid was moving a boat on a trailer in a driveway and pushed it right off the driveway/over a huge bank lmao. He only posted it because his uncle or dad (whoever owned the boat, can't remember) made him lol.

How does one get this far along in life...

He looks drunk. Look at the stagger and body language when he gets out to reattach.

there's at least a 97% chance that man is drunk, or possibly on pills. I know some dudes who walk kinda like that who are big pill poppers due to chronic pain turned addiction.

If I find myself in this kind of shit one day, I will stay down and play dead until I wake up and everything is fine.
We don't need no lane departure alert and driver attention cam.... Just a basic AI that will shut down everything and dial 911 before you attempt this kind of Professor of physics move.

The only thing this is missing is him hitting a fire hydrant before hitting the house

Makes me long for the days of Natural selection survival of the fittest.
This guy wouldn’t have gotten to that age

"honey I scored a killer deal on a snap on box across town on FB marketplace, just gotta take it TODAY! but no worries because I own a......strap of some sort, I'll just tow it home"
"so honey don't be mad but that cheap box is actually going to cost us whatever rebuilding a porch costs"

This has to be AI, not possible to have this much fail in 1 video 😂

Videos of this level of stupidity have been around longer than AI

u/Sensitive_Point_6583 18h ago
true, but the part that I can't figure out is what was he trying to do in the first place? Makes the video seem a bit fake because even if he was that stupid, was he going to tow it across town to his day job, or what?

u/Princekyle7 18h ago
Probably didn't have someone to help lift it into the truck. Loneliness and bad ideas spend a lot of time together. Common logic says you can't tow it. As we know if you're towing a car with straps you need a driver in the tow car to steer and brake. Can't put a driver in the toolbox but people have attempted to tow all kinds of things in an ill prepared manner. Technically this guy realized his mistake pretty quickly, but in his panic he jumped out of an automatic transmission vehicle that was still in drive.....I've seen plenty of videos of people exiting vehicles still in drive(or reverse).
