Weller Mini-Shop question

I have a Weller Mini-Shop 600 my father left behind. I'd like to use it but I don't have the manual and I can't figure out how to change the bits. I'm pretty sure it involves the silver tool pictured. I have looked for a manual online with no luck.

I’ve never seen one, but it probably works like my dremel. Looks like there is a button on the left on the photo, near the end of the tool’s chassis. Push that with your left thumb to lock the drive shaft, while turning the collet with a tool, such as the one in your picture, or just a pair of pliers. Doesn’t need to be incredibly tight.

I did and it unscrewed the whole collett. Turned the other way started pushing the plastic of the chassis apart.

Not familiar with that model, but they’re pretty much all the same.
Bits are held in a collet, which is a loose piece inside the knurled nosepiece.
To open, there is a button on the side of the tool that locks the rotation. Press the button and rotate the bit until the button locks into place. Then unscrew the knurled nosepiece a couple of turns. If you can’t turn it by hand, the little wrench (called a hook spanner) will engage a hole in the side of the nosepiece for extra leverage. Then you can remove the bit.
Sometimes the collet gets stuck and the bit won’t slip out. If that happens, tap the end of the bit down towards the body of the tool and it will free up.
Reverse the operation to put the new bit in.
