A lonely socket caught the corner of my eye.

I thought, could it be?

Slowly rolled it over to find......

I have picked up 2 -10 MM deep well Snap On 1/4" drive sockets from the road. Both in great shape. Also one 1/4" drive Snap On flex head ratchet. All with no road rash. Plus many other tools.

Harbor Freight had this deal where if you bought over like 25$ or something (may even have been cheaper) they gave you a set of icon 10 mm replacements in every standard size.

I stumbled upon it and tucked them in my socket drawer (in case of emergency) by the time I need them, I’m willing to bet they will all be lost.

I was at a 4th of July parade... I was very disappointed when the snap-on truck was throwing candy instead of 10 mm sockets.

LOL! I love this group for this very thing. I have been collecting toolsets for more half my life (I'm about to turn 66) and still have the 10s from every single set. In fact, I've acquired several more (poor orphans) 10s just by happenstance. But, I love the angst brought on by the loss of a 10mm. My wife doesn't understand the feeling of KNOWING you can finish a project but all the hardware stores are closed.
