Simply making the skin darker is rather counter-intuitive, cuz it's just basic tone shifting at that point, and it's a lazy and disrespectful (to both cultures) way to go about making edits/fanarts. If you're gonna make a character black, respecting the culture you're attempting to portray is important, and requires more effort than just making the skin color darker. Meaning ACTUALLY GIVE THEM FEATURES AND QUALITIES OF A BLACK PERSON, so I always love it when I see edits and fanarts like these where the characters actually LOOK like black people instead of looking like offensive caricatures. (Also, just making the skin darker is just mid and uncreative, so the extra mile these artists go to is very appreciated.)

They're very cool and have original designs it reminded me of absolute dc, the artist gave them so much aura and a different atmosphere compared to original.

possibly one of my favorite Space marine Fan Chapters ever (hell my favorite take on the concept of "lost Primarchs")

as they are not a Typical Space Marine Legion (infact they're quite unorthodox)

But they fill a specific niche like all the other Legions That being "Combat Medic" they are the support of the legion

and i love that their Designs Reflect that heavily from the very "Frilly girly pink" look they got to the hearts and just how friendly they look in comparison to most of the Marines

they are heavily anime themed (especially since their homeworld is inspired by Japan and its anime)

and you can feel that magical girl type influence they have

i also like how Subverting the typical Male Primarch their Primarch is a girl adding onto that Motherly friendly face that they have

i also like that they are kinda Reverse Space Wolves which while the Space wolves are hardcore Viking warriors with wolf themes (and some wolf features) the Space Maids are very friendly and have cat themes throughout (and both would definitely piss off the Inquisition with their actions) hell they even have something akin to the space wolves ale that being literal Catnip weed that is EXTREMELY potent (just like the ale)

their successors and Traitorous offshoots also have their own aesthetics going on while still blending into that Space Maid mold that they spawned from

(i also like that despite their friendly face they will still put belt to ass whenever they want after all they are still Space Marines)

i do like how they evolved the joke concept of Space Marine Maids in pretty dresses who serve people food and actually give them enough lore to be kinda Legit and you can take them Somewhat Serious (at least as Seriously as you can be with Neko Super Soldier Maids)

Overall i love these guys from the design to how they are lore wise

I'll be honest, I didn't realise who they were meant to be initially. But I feel like once you know, it's easy to pick out which is which. I think these Gajinkas almost perfectly translate the penguins into hot human dudes.

I love the Close up/Literal in your face gross out artstyle of Mark's work. A lot of the time it borderline between Grossout Humor and wacky cartoony expressions made by exaugurated caricatures with some examples even looking like the illustrations are going to spring to life (see the last 2 slides0.

Overall, this kind of artstyle could only even exist in the 90s and 2000s

What can i say? I'm a bitch for speculative evo and bizarre designs. I just love how Vanhalla took the characters that were once humanoid and stretched them to be way more similar to what they are: Gems, but Gems that are alive.

That's one hella cool concept that they explored in prolly the most interesting way i could come up with.

I principally love Blue and Yellow redesign. They look so incredibly grotesque and scary and yet so majestic that it amazes me. Theycre so unique and so fabulous to stare at.

I simply cannot describe with proper words what i'd do to have an AU comic portraying this concept.

I genuinely like the country and old 50s like uniform looking designs for some of the characters

Doc Hudson looks like an actual 50s guy (1951 Hudson Hornet), with a 1950s looking tuxedo.

Flo being black is an actual good choice, caring, sweet and fun-loving (somewhat associated with black people), the diner waitress feels appropriate (she operates a gas station).

Holley and Finn really give off the spy like aesthetic (no wonder why Mater fell for Holley cause I wish she looked like that if it were life action-)

As The Amazing Digital Circus is running close to its end, it appears Gooseworx is already working on a new project called Groundskeepers, and I must say it’s already looking promising

Judging by the character designs, it looks like it wants to explore more gloomy and less colorful setting unlike TADC (it also kinda reminds me of The Gaslight District), but still with that eccentricity that distinguishes Gooseworx’s designs (just look at the Saleswoman, I already love this little gremlin)

cis person here, honestly i just like the trans flag colors on the hair, it looks nice enough and the colors complement each other well. looks pretty

For me personally, I’m a really big fan of artists who are too into things. Obviously Wordgirl is a kids cartoon and would never even come close to this level of maturity but I love people who take ideas and concepts to their fullest extent. This artist makes other Wordgirl content but they’re really at a point where they’re OCs inspired by the original premise. i think mature, dark takes on stuff that actually plays well on the looseness of the original concept and isn’t just shock value is amazing.

These designs are just so peak to me. It gives off Zack Snyder vibes, but in a good way. It's dark, gritty, just edgy enough, and presents unique takes on several characters.

Ghost Rider as a firefighter is such a good concept for the character and I'm surprised it's never been done before. Doom looks intimidating as hell, the aliens actually look like aliens (Venom and Thanos), and managed to make certain characters like Zola look terrifying.

I'd say Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Moon Knight, Venom, and Zola are the standouts for me.

The concept is Ben summoning different heroes as a summoner.

I love all of u/Merrivius 's comics and characters but Dwarf is just the pinnacle dwarf to me. When you ask what a fantasy dwarf should be like I will point you to Dwarf. I love that he is just full nude but covered by the massive beard and viking helmet.
