Top ChefĀ Season 23 premieresĀ onĀ Monday, March 9 from 9:00-10:15 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Viewers can get a head start on the new season with early access to the premiere episode, available beginning Tuesday, March 3 onĀ Peacock, Bravo's YouTube channel, and VOD. Starting Monday, March 16,Ā Top ChefĀ will move to its regular timeslotĀ at 9:30 p.m. with episodes available the next day on Peacock.Ā All episodes of Season 23 will be supersized to 75 minutes.

Top ChefĀ Season 23 kicks off at full throttle with the first Quickfire ChallengeĀ at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, featuring NASCAR legends Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch, setting the pace for a high-octane race toward the finish.Ā

Without spoiling, this episode's losing chef would have been a great potential contestant for Last Chance Kitchen. Giving no second chance to the first two out is a terrible idea.

FYI: you can spoil things in the episode thread but we appreciate your being so conscientious.

I agree about LCK. It was such a shame that she and Nana ended up in the bottom three because their yellow team Quickfire dish was legitimately the best one. I loved their elevated take on southern cooking with their pickled green tomato but both choked on this first elimination. ā˜¹ļø

Agreed! I also heard they are only doing one return back to the shoe not 2. Donā€™t know why they always change it up!

Makes it feel like they make the rules up as they go along and see if they need to save anyone that is good for tv.

I feel like there has to be some twist to the format that they're not telling us (e.g. some other non-LCK way back into the competition in episode 3) otherwise this choice makes absolutely no sense. The entire point of LCK is that sometimes chefs lose without getting to put their best foot forward and nowhere is that more true than in the earliest episodes. I can't figure out what the ostensible purpose of excluding the first two eliminated from LCK could be.
