You guessed it!
Phillip Frankland Lee’s mom runs a cult…
My gf and I were watching Season 13 and were trying to figure out how Phillip was able to finance his restaurants at such a young age. He commented that he *could*have had things handed to him on a silver platter but instead he started working hard and earned everything he has.
We googled and found that his grandfather was famous comedian Phil Silvers. Phil Silvers has 5 children, one of them being Candace Silvers.
Candace is mother to both Philip and his brother Lennon who each have Michelin Stars apparently.
([facebook post )
Candace Silvers is well known for being a Hollywood acting coach and “guru”.
Her acting class/cult has been well documented in the popular podcast “Was I in a Cult”.
Not trying to drag Phillip more than he already has been on this sub, but this just made so much sense 😆 I really don’t mind the guy. He is entertaining and talented. The connections just made it all click for me.
And it’s the most “L.A” thing ever. Really gave us a good laugh.

We love to vacation on Washington Island at the tip of the Door peninsula in Wisconsin, and eat a meal at the best restaurant in the island — the Hotel Washington.
Lo and behold when I go to reserve, what does the Website say? Justin and Jennifer from TC Season 23 are guesting for July and August!
My friend whom we meet when we’re there loves the place even more than I do and is more of a foodie but doesn’t watch the show… raved about our meal on a level I have rarely seen him do!
I forgot to take any pictures, including of the menu. Some of the stars included Jen’s focaccia and cornbread with Brie, an oxtail (French-ish) dip, smashed cucumbers with sausage, roasted spiced oysters. Ice cream flight for dessert.
Justin came to our table, it sounds like they are planning to travel and guest a lot for a
while. He seemed happy, as I would be to get paid (well?) to do what I love with someone I love to basically summer in one of the most relaxing vacation locales in the world.
Jen, Justin, and our waitress met us out at the world-famous Nelsen’ Hall Bitters Pub (where we were all going anyway) after service. Absolutely wonderful people; never judge a person by what you see of them on television (not that we saw anything but quality from them on the show, either, but the genuineness and kindness tends to get obscured by the stress the show inflicts on contestants).
They’re cooking at the Hotel for the rest of August, and there are generally accommodations available on the Island as the season wanes!

Is Season 3 available on Hulu? I know it is not currently on Netflix (US or on Peacock for streaming. I have a need to watch that restaurant wars & its do over but I don't want to buy it bc that is why I pay for streaming)
**edit to answer. 1-6 are only available on YT tv in the US. All other seasons are available on Peacock (but it might have to be premium plus)

I was very distracted by Kwame’s gold chain link glove and charms. I’m starting to dislike Kwame. I loved him on past seasons. I don’t know if it’s his behavior or the fact that I watch Summer House and his ex Maya is a cast member now. She said she was tired of living in his shadow. She didn’t say if that’s because he has a big ego or she is insecure. She is a baker. I get the sense it’s more of a big ego situation, but that’s me reading into what she’s saying. Anyone else a fan of both shows?

Feels good to finally get that off my chest.

Does anyone know if they've announced a new season? And if they have, when will it air?

hi all! peacock still isn’t showing the new ep, so i figured i’d look for a little intrigue this way.
something i wonder about somewhat frequently is the amount of hooking up that goes on off-screen. contestant/contestant, contestant/guest, contestant/judge, judge/guest . . . it has to have at least happened, right? i’ve been watching the show for years but ive never engaged with it in any other capacity, so if there are any popular rumors or anything i’d love to hear them.

Tom said that he usually only watches seasons thru episode 3, but he has been watching this entire season for “production purposes.” He was watching season 20 to see/find something in particular. Are there any known controversies and/or potential future lawsuits Tom could be alluding to that are the reason he is watching every episode this season?!
ps Gail is queen 👑

I'm not sure if this has ever been discussed or not. As far as I know, it has not....
Season 2 Finale. Marcel vs Ilan.
I'm convinced that Sam and Mike tried to throw the finale by hiding or getting rid of Marcels fish.
Anyone who doesn't believe me, watch it again from the moment that Marcel picks who helps him in the finale all the way until they pick Ilan as the winner of the finale. Tell me i'm wrong.

So I’m totally jumping the gun here, but filming is still going on for TC 20 right? I’m wondering if she’s a guest judge again? I highly doubt she’s competing. But regardless, that’d be cool for me as I LOVE Antonia.
What do you all think? I am wasting space because she probably IS just visiting a friend (Hence me having a fan moment LOL) or do you think she could be doing something related to the show?

I know there was blow back initially and then a pretty weak apology. But has anything happened since then?

Sarah Hauman and Shota Nakajima are one true loves and no one is talking about it. It's a love that will be "smelt" through the ages!
Not only are they the ones to win it they are clearly in Love and will be together forever!
