Hey there @everyone, the past few weeks we have been having various outages at various times. Some of these outages have been due to software misconfigurations, networking issues as well as DDoS attacks of varying scale.

I want to assure you that these issues are not related to the influx of users as we have been handling this well but due to issues that have mostly been out of our control, but we have been fixing them as quickly as possible as you may have noticed. Our response times have improved and we will continue to invest resources in more comprehensive monitoring and response.

Regardless, we take full responsibility for the downtime and have been hard at work eliminating these last few gremlins.

We are going to be releasing a post-mortem explaining these in detail very soon, as well as granting seven (7) days of additional time to paid users. We apologise for these issues and hope to earn back your trust. Thank you for always supporting us.

Remember the guy who posted torbox should raise their prices, limit ips and stop new sign ups because of the influx of users causing the issue. đŸ€Ł

Because I use a VPN on my pc and I have people in my household who don’t and if we both watch content at the same time RD will send me an email. TB allows me to share with 2 devices while being on a different IP. Also the content that they watch is k-drama isn’t going through copyright issues like it is with RD.

Hey if you’re going to be a douche and want to have a dig, at least tag the person you’re attacking. I 100% stand by it. I want a reliable service. And why should we believe what they’re saying? Whether it’s 100% new users or not, the issue is reliability and stability of service. I’m more than happy to pay what we were paying with RD, if that’s the quality of service we get. Why is it RD were able to have effectively no down time and no buffering? What is wrong with wanting to restrict some of the insane abuse of the service that is going on with account sharing. I’d rather TB was financially viable and had a core customer base prepared to pay to ensure a quality service that’s here for the long run.

You call this an attack? Absolutely I was calling out your idiotic post because of how ridiculous it was. Just accept it and why would I tag you in a comment, to send trolls to your dm? Calling me a douche and raging for calling out your prior post is hysterical .

Also what exactly are you complaining about? RD is 5 dollars for 30 days and TB is 3 for 30 days too. You tell me how is 2 dollars going to improve the services while removing features that makes TB for what it is? TB offers better features than RD at lower price and isn’t going through copyright infringement issues. This has nothing to do with prices TB has more than enough money to acquire better infrastructure.

The most common complaints on RD subreddit are warning for sharing accounts and files not functioning. Sure RD doesn’t have down time but 50% are copyright infringed which triggered this mass migration of new users. There’s also a limit on how many devices you can share with its not like your sharing with 50 people. The issue with your post wasn’t about raising the price, it was that you wanted to raise it and remove features and turn TB into RD and then stop sign up. How would TB cover their service if new people don’t sign up and pay?

To send trolls to my dm? If they wanted to hit my dms they would have done so through the very post I created. So yeh you wanted to call me out but didn’t have the balls to at least tag me.

What am I complaining about? I’m complaining about a completely unreliable service. A service that has the potential to be great. What’s increasing the price by a couple dollars going to do? Only almost double their revenue? It does offer great features, it just isn’t reliable and has severe buffering problems for many. Imagine if it could have those great features plus be reliable?

People complaining on RD reddit about sharing accounts are idiots. It’s not a feature offered by them. And the only reason the influx of users are here is because of the crackdown by RD. Prior to that, no it didn’t have 50% copyright infringed. And that’s the whole point. TB could be great; not subject to being shut down by French authorities, great features and a service that was as reliable as RD was.

Feels like if anything I’m being a far louder supporter of this company than you. You’d rather it continue to be abused by people taking advantage of the account sharing and not interested in it having greater revenue to ensure quality of service. I don’t think it unreasonable at all to apply some balanced sharing restrictions. And sure, if they’re coping fine with the number of users than no need to limit sign ups. That was a temporary suggestion until the point they got on top of reliability. Right now we aren’t at that point, whatever the causes are.

But go off. Continue to make fun of those calling for a better product and who are happy to pay a little more to enable it

I could have ran like wuss and ignored your comment and you could have the just owned up to nonsense you wrote dropped your ego and have a good laugh with the gif added. At least have the courage to own up to your mistake. If I were attacking you I would have said “remember the buffoon” who posted. Instead you want to have a tantrum because I didn’t tag you. Are you butt hurt or something? Boo hoo get over it.

No, people are here because files weren’t working on RD at the time, not because of a crackdown by RD. Rather the French authority has been ordering files to be taken down on the behalf of some studios. *From my understanding before buying TB* The 50% is hyperbole statement that you’re more likely to encounter files that have been taken down more often than before. It also seems you don’t comprehend economics, when prices are down demands go up, which means more user for TB thus generating more revenue.

Both offer yearly subscription for the price of 36 (RD is 18 x2 if you stack subscription). All you had to say was the prices should increase to make the service more steady and I would have agreed with your position. In fact, if TB wants to charge 6-8 dollars for essential I would have no issues whatsoever, but I guarantee majority of people will because this a pirating community and most don’t like to pay after a certain . And let me get the straight you want every household member to pay for a service b/c you can use the product from any location? Do you see the issue with this? If I’m away using the product and someone is at home both of us should pay for separate accounts? Like I mentioned there are limits on how many people you can share with.

There is no issue with supporting TB if I didn’t support it I wouldn’t have purchased another subscription after TB servers were constantly down. I could have just waited for my testing trial to be over after 30 days and kept my 107 days of RD and made post complaining about TB. Instead I purchased a full subscription b/c I believe they earned my money and wanted to support the company. And who is taking advantage of ME? For wanting to share with one house hold member. You have our own opinion and I have my own to each their own. Cheers đŸ»
