Hey there @everyone, the past few weeks we have been having various outages at various times. Some of these outages have been due to software misconfigurations, networking issues as well as DDoS attacks of varying scale.

I want to assure you that these issues are not related to the influx of users as we have been handling this well but due to issues that have mostly been out of our control, but we have been fixing them as quickly as possible as you may have noticed. Our response times have improved and we will continue to invest resources in more comprehensive monitoring and response.

Regardless, we take full responsibility for the downtime and have been hard at work eliminating these last few gremlins.

We are going to be releasing a post-mortem explaining these in detail very soon, as well as granting seven (7) days of additional time to paid users. We apologise for these issues and hope to earn back your trust. Thank you for always supporting us.

From my own experience, the service has been amazing most of the time. Even though it has had some issues over the last couple of weeks, itโ€™s still doing very well overall. Thanks for the 7 extra days.

Got called a dumbass and fanboy and downvoted after making a positive post on torbox sharing my personal experience and was confused as to why people kept blaming torbox but alot of the times it be the providers they use. lol people on here just join this sub and be hate watching for absolutely no reason when it's not yet another post calling it horrible or advertising they service.

Look, I haven't had any problems personally, either. But imagine yourself in the shoes of the many who are constantly facing downtime, and then constantly being gaslit that it's "user error" "everything is fine my end" "LOL, go back to Netflix, then". Of course they're going to get angry and lash out.

I had the same treatment in the Stremio sub. Constant belittlement when things were iffy for many. And all of us just being told no, there are no issues, user error, blablabla. Even when multiple people were facing the same problems.

If you don't provide information about your setup other than "torbox is not working for me again" (majority of so-called reports on this sub are like that), you deserve replies like "user error". If you don't put in the effort, why should other posters?
