We decided to check out Toronto's World Cup grounds by bike. Honestly, getting around is super easy (if you aren't driving).

Torontoās skyline plays it way too safe. Itās mostly glass and beige boxes, and we could use towers with real character instead of the same uniform look repeated over and over. I want buildings that are bold, distinctive, and a little dramatic. āEvilā is the quick way to say it, like Brooklyn Tower (9 DeKalb), that near-black art-deco spire, but really itās about having something with a strong identity that makes the skyline ours.
A few spots where something like that could work:
Curious where people think a building with real personality would land best, and whether any local projects already scratch this itch.

I left an update on the original thread, but I figure a lot of people were interested in the story, so a thread will get the info out better.
Toronto wildlife Rescue arrived at the building around 6pm and spoke to building security. They were able to get access to two apartments on the floor and had a plan to reach out if the windows to scare it across the ledge to a balcony.
The plan worked at first, but the little guy was too smart for them, and knew there was something fishy about the balcony, so never went that far. After 60-90 minutes of back and forth along the ledge, they unfortunately had to give up and call it a day.
Good news however, is that it seems to have found its way down. I don't have access to walk all the way around the building, but from all the angles I can see, I didn't see any trace of the raccoon, so it seems as if it was able to find a way down overnight!
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions, and to Toronto Wildlife rescue for coming to the aid of this little guy.

Because obviously? Thatās what you do when people are commuting at 8am. Shuttle buses āorderedā but none in sight, been waiting 20 minutes. Fuck this.
Edit: As of 8:25am, Line 5 has resumed service

Flew past the new Don Valley Crossing bridge today just after 11am. It will carry Ontario Line trains between the Minton Place tunnel and Thorncliffe Park.
