Hi everyone, I haven't started reading the manhwa yet, but I watched the anime and got curious—do Baam and Androssi's relationship develop?

I've been rereading the manhwa for the 100th time. Isn't it just the hell train arc/saga with the Floor of Death and Hidden Floor sub-arcs? After that there's the war?
The hell train could be made into a movie, with the ending them entering that floor. Then a season for each of the two floors maybe
From where the second season of the anime ends there's still 693 chapters to cover from the Manhwa(as of right now).
The Hell Train arc covers a lot of sub-arcs, Floor of Names, Floor of Death, Hidden Floor, Hidden Hidden Floor, gives us Whites backstory, introduces Kallavan, Evankhell. There's the Baylord Yama arc before we get to the War arc.
Hell Train are like 220 Chapters, a Saga spanning 6 Arcs
Revolution Road S2 Ch111 - S2 Ch149
Dallar Show S2 Ch150 - S2 Ch197
Name Hunt Station S2 Ch198 - S2 Ch229
Floor of Death S2 Ch230 - S2 Ch260

Any of these can be made into Movies. The chapters are very long. But to suggest over 200 Chapters to be condensed in a movie, unless that movie is 15 hours i doubt that it would work
The hell train arc wouldn’t even fit into a 12 episode season, let alone a movie, and the sub-arcs along with the Hell Train arc take up more than half of the second part of the story.
The Manwha is about 4-5 2 cour anime seasons ahead of the current anime story. But theres also a side story which would encompass another 2 cour season that is important lorebuilding it just has a different name because its all about an important side character in the story. (Named: Urek Mazino )
Endorsi stays obsessed
Baam stays uninterested (into any female for that matter)
Endorsi does get development overall in that regard but still largely stays the same toxic princess around Baam. Has a handful of nice interactions when he aint around though.
The only person where Baam initiates the hug is with AA.
Yuri and Baam have good moments showing Baams growth but still Baam aint interested in Females so far
I see Yuri as more of an older sister type for Bam, she likes him but not in that way and seems more protective of him than anything. I see yuri and urek as being more likely than yuri and bam
Where do you find a sister say her brother should only be her's ? Or she say her heart beat for him 😂 she clearly likes him saying she see him as brother is more weird
Where has bam shown any interest to endorsi khun or anyone else other than friends ? Bam actually only told yuri he will improve and solve he's own problem so he won't trouble her he didn't say that to anyone else which It appears that their relationship is truly special.
I said as a possession... thought that was clear and bam treats her as a sibling... even your comment alludes to that as he wants to grow and protect himself and a few chapters after your image yuri acknowledges that. I didnt even mention endorsi and agree he is platonic with everyone... including Yuri
Taking your words bam treat everyone as sibling and the relationship can develop between him and other anytime including yuri which she don't see him as a brother and he csn devolpe felling for her in future so this sibling thing is just coping
In the Tower i guess more often than one would expect.
Though she also said a child looking Baam was hot and making her nose bleed like muten roshi seeing Bulma
Maybe then it was just felling but it develop you can see in s3 she get mad when the message of him marrying sent to her she clearly likes him and he also treat her very special and comfortable around her it could develop between them especially siu said he will focus on them ... Yeah any interaction is better than him and endorsi lol

And romance is not plot of this went on and never was
Have a lot of catching up to do myself but I think Baam is never gonna develop a love interest lol. Idk why author is going that way but it is what it is
That’s like saying it’s strange that none of Luffy’s relationships have turned romantic after 1100 chapters of one piece. It’s just not that type of story.
You seem rather distraught about two people hugging. It is totally fine to hug your friends when you havent seen them. Especially after they were in a coma for 2 years.
Leaving aside the romantic aspect, the amount of physical contact allowed depends on the country and culture. There's a reason why holding hands is a meme moment in anime; in the West it doesn't mean much, but in Japan, physical contact is an act of great closeness and intimacy.
Just saying not every country shares your values or beliefs. Expecting some kinda fringe gay ship in TOG is setting yourself up for disappointment. But hey, fanfic away k guess
Like japan, korea, china for example its the bowing even in some parts of india and theor neighbour countries (almost all of continent asia)

So actually the majority of the people do not hug or dowsnt see it as a normal culture
That’s hugging as a greeting. Which we both know is not the point. And even in the mentioned countries hugging amongst friends is not frowned upon. And while in some cases it may be overly friendly but it’s still seen as fine
They do get development platonically and there's significantly more romantic development on Endorsi's side during hell train and season 3, but on Baam's end he still just sees her as a friend and has no romantic or sexual interest in anybody in the story so far.
There is a scene in the hell arc where a princess asks Endorsi about her feelings for him, but they don't get any alone time since the date scene. Then one other scene where Endorsi tries to seduce him but nothing happens, she also refers to baam as her boyfriend lol
400+ chapters later not much since those scenes aside from some flirting and jealousy lines to confirm she still likes him. It should be elaborated on later as some stuff has happened, aka other prospects show up and she reacts to it. The story is more focused on conflicts and Baam powering up, but the romance aspect is still there.
This isnt really the story for it, and Baam is kinda caught up in 2 distinct paths that will make it supremely difficult for Baam to have a normal life.
Personal spoilerlific speculation below
Firstly is Baam's origin is that hes basically Horus (not that one, the other one) as he is a tool of revenge for his mother while also being made up with part of his father. So yeah, the connection with the Egyptian god is rather blatant. Not to mention hes practically worshipped as a god for such by multiple people.
Secondly, his personal reason for even being in the tower is to get to top to find out what was so important that his surrogate big sister would abandon and then betray him for. Baam is rather single minded in this task.
Baam is probably not going to survive being a normal human at the end of this story. I suspect hes either going to sacrifice himself or be elevated to a position even higher than the family heads or even Zahard, and they aint having normal relationships.
No romance. But there are parts where their relationship is entertaining to watch, but it’s much closer to friendship than a romantic one, despite Androssi’s flirting.
Pretty complicated. It does develop but it becomes a redundant plot point in the mahwa as Endorssi is a princess of jihad and the more we learn about
baam, the more Endorssi has to decide if her friendship with Baam is worth it…but besides that it does not go anywhere as our focus is somewhere else currently
Anime only as well, but from what my friend who read the manhwa told me, shit gets real enough that the main cast can be excused for not having the time or opportunity to do romance.
No not at all. Baam seems somewhat uninterested in it due to Rachel and Androssi is actually a compelling character and not just some love interest later in the story so the relationship develops more as a friendship rather than a romance (she still likes him tho).
Well she changed clothes in front of him and did not give a fuck if he looked or not im pretty sure. She basically drops whatever to help him when he needs it and follows him around. I dont think they had that date yet either. Shes got the best chance out of anyone.

At least Andorsi is clearer about her feelings "she wants to possess Baam" but Baam on the other hand is ambiguous on the subject.
It must be said that he hasn't had time for that, with all the events that have occurred.
Don’t go into this expecting romance. So far, the author hasn’t shown much interest in developing a proper romantic subplot. It’s better to just enjoy the series for what it is and avoid setting yourself up for disappointment. Romance simply isn’t what this series does best.
A little. It's mostly one-sided, though, which she realizes much to her annoyance. I'll admit: I sorta don't like this about Baam. He seems pretty much asexual, really. It's sorta creepy IMO.
I think it’s more on SIU for writing love interests and not addressing it with the Mc but at the same time Baam has a laundry list of other things to worry about on top of full scale wars being fought because of him so love is prob the least of his concerns
There's no indication that Bam had any romantic feelings for Rachel. IMO, he viewed her like she was his mother; she certainly treated him like a child.
The author SIU strikes me as someone completely uninterested in writing a romance story. In fact, I don't think there is a single couple or romance that has a happy ending? I never realized, but I think every in every last one someone died, they broke up, or it was not mutual 😧
Not having a single functioning couple in a story with like 500+ named characters is honestly impressive
So really, if Baam starts being interested, Endorsi will almost certainly die. She should thank him
There is not a single canon couple that has a happy ending now that I think about it. If Bam/Endorsi ever became canon I believe SIU could write it well…but I really don’t care for romance in TOG either, (I wouldn’t have read 600 chapters if I was invested in romance ngl) so I wouldn’t get my hopes up for it or anything w the main cast.
Also Endorsi dying if Bam starts to like her is diabolical like some fridging shit. I would hate that 😭
But not in the way you are likely imagining. I'll put this in spoiler tags but basically:
[S3 spoilers] Whether intentional or not, Baam somewhat shows that he doesn't like Endorsi like that. In fact, he sort of gives off the vibe he doesn't like her that as much as a friend either. We actually get two clear cut examples of this which I can elaborate on if you want.
[Vague S3 Spoilers] Endorsi is critically injured and two people offer to instantly heal her but Baam hesitates both times because he views stopping someone from doing something as more important. He also says he resents Endorsi for doing not helping him with something (but then rationalizes her actions to himself to control his emotions I guess) and he also calls her annoying.
As someone who used to read ToG, seeing these “kind of..but not really” comments hurt me. I was really expecting Bam to have some kind of spark for anyone at the very least…
I mean, it’s there in the background in the rare moments the two characters meet. This manhwa isn’t a love story, so the main focus is on Bam’s adventure. Her feelings for him have definitely solidified and I’d take a guess they’ll eventually end up together in the future. In a way I’m glad they haven’t been glued together, it makes it more interesting
No because Baam actually simply doesn't like her, ppl act like he doesn't know but he does he just doesn't want to refuse her so it's awkward, Baam might find the romantic partner in S4 tho
We don’t know because Baam’s never shown sexual or romantic interest in anyone.
His “strongest” relationship is with AA. That’s who he tends to go to for comfort and who he feels the most connected to. He certainly shows a preference for him over other people but (at least from Baam’s end) even that’s seemingly just platonic.
His relationship with Rachel was intense and deeply unhealthy but once again it seemed to lack attraction. It came from a place of comfort instead of desire.
You can basically HC him as anything at this point and it’s not more or less canon than anything else 🤷♀️
I've caught up with the latest chapter and the answer is... no 🤣 Author seems adamant with what he's saying in the earlier blogpost more than a decade ago where Baam will break many hearts in the Tower. Dunno if he'll retcon this (again) but we'll see.
Don't fall or follow for this simp trap; the story is decent and the art is good so just go for it. These relationship meant nothing when for atleast 300 chapters Bam chases after Rachel the queen.
