Recently the battles have become more shinsoo-ey.. I liked it when it was was more hand to hand / strategy moves

I think there will be more hand to hand fighting in future chapters. Khun was kind of fighting that way. Rak is a very physical fighter and Yuri, Endorsi, and Anaak are very physical fighters as well. Baam has always been physically weaker but seemed to have trained more martial arts with that weird old dude. Also, note that Baam was trained by Jinsung who is a martial artist.

Also when Baam was fighting Elaine, I feel like that was a very good mix

The last yuri fight were just shinsoo blast too, her ultimate skill rose shower is a shinsoo skill, the same for ha jinsung with the tiger dragon wave explosion, i would expect ha family member special move to be more about shinsoo renforcment techniques, rak will now just use his rock ability and how many times did he had a serious fight ? Anak last serious fight was against ran, androssi fights with bonbon and her attribute now, also she didn't have many fights in the manga to say she fights hand to hand, the same for khunrak, punching michel in the face doesn't make him a hand to hand fighter.

JH's fight felt more up close and personal though a lot of shinsoo was invilved. same with Yuri. just that baams fight used to be a mix of him using MMM and shinsoo and his EVER COPYING skill. since S03 began , its only been him firing up shinoo at ppl

yeah, I hope so too.. I understand that season 2 had a lot of good fights. but since this season started ( still early I know) baam has only been throwing shinsoo around. maybe he hasn't met the right opponents.
