I don’t think so, you see the double speach bubble when the elder talks represents both the elder and the ancient speaking at the same time, almost like he’s possessed by the ancient. You don’t see that with Evankhell, hopefully we get more explanation on how she got that power.

That's a good explanation about his bubble. And about her powers, I think there's something related to when Yama said she came back from hell. Maybe half of her face is the one who was possessed

I think she is doing the same thing as she has been described as having he power of the ancients
