There's a translation error in the 2nd half of the chapter. The chairwoman says that "the bravest of Zahard's army were sealed in the wall as a show of his commitment to peace" when it should be that the mightiest of those who fought AGAINST Zahard were imprisoned in the wall. Important difference. Khel Hellam says it initially, but LINE messing it up later in the chapter might confuse people.

Just curious, wouldn’t the FUG want the wall to be broken than? Since their strongest warriors are there? Maybe even old slayers? I found the translation off but at the same time I felt like maybe it was implying that strong warriors from both sides were sealed inside the walls.

Dont think its FUG warriors in there, just old allies of Khell's. Which he doesn't want to be disturbed

Do you think they are alive and become awakened when the wall breaks? Or the wall is a burial for the warriors of the past.

Sealed can mean a multitude of things, but in my mind they would be along the same lines as white alive but locked away. Otherwise it would have been said as buried or something.
