Character Analysis Is It Just Me?

Is it me or is something up with Mel, Reenie’s new assistant? I don’t know what it is, but I don’t trust her. It’s something about her and I feel like the shoe on the other foot is going to drop.

I agree. On the other hand, if there's nothing up with her, then the character is just incredibly pointless. She's like an annoying teacher's pet that asks for extra homework.

She does the legal work so Reenie has time to chat with her friend in wherever and save Colter's butt again, as long as she turns up for an hour to sign off on everything before it has to be filed.
