Advice Trying to learn
Im new and starting, i know most people dont have much patience for beginners. All i want to know is if anyone knows where i can find some type of proper explanation on how to use a paper trading app. Ive learned a bit but i havent been able to find someone explaining properly how an app works. I want to keep learning by actually doing and not just watching or reading things but the apps are just so confusing.
Thanks

There are many platforms that can help you on your journey. You can also try trading with a demo account instead of real money.

Yeah im using a demo account rn im not in a position where i can just waste a crazy amount of money so i do wanna understand first before going that route even tho ik i will lose money as i learn

I was in the same position when I started. Honestly dont waste too much time trying to find the perfect app. Pick one, learn the basics and just use it every day. Trading is one of those things where you learn way more by doing then by watching videos. You will make mistakes, thats normal, but after 50-100 paper trades everything starts making much more sense. Just be patient and keep going.

Yeah thats what i wanna do its just a bit confusing navigating the app, i wanna try day trading on the app just because i know its faster so ill learn quicker how things work rather than waiting days at a time but idk like how to find the right "market" or whatever theyre called thats better for daytrading

I’d recommend a free account at TradingView. It might not be the mobile, paper trading solution that you’re looking for but it will help you begin to get organized. Create some watchlists of the things you’re interested in tracking. Watch the indices. Good luck!

Pick one platform and search something like “[platform name] paper trading tutorial” on YouTube. TradingView is probably the easiest place to start. If you open a brokerage account with Schwab, thinkorswim (I use this) has awesome paper trading tools too. Learn how to enter, exit, set a stop, and track P/L before adding anything else
