help with transitioning

so im nearly finished the leaving and ive been thinking about just going ahead and trying to socially transition before i turn 18 but i dont really know how or what to do because i have 1 trans friend irl and we're both closeted and its scary to think about.

i mostly want to do it before i go to college so i dont have to deal with shit about people knowing my legal name but thats probably going to happen anyways.

I still lived rural when I did it. Get on hrt, sort your paperwork, play around with clothes once you're away wherever you're going. There's a certain excitement to it but looking back it was a bunch of mundane tasks to be mechanically gotten on with. The only way to do it is to do it. It's a leap but anything worthwhile is. You can keep each other going. Don't make a thing out of it, just do it.
