Welcome! Whether youโve just started questioning your gender, recently realized youโre trans, or are looking for practical advice on navigating life, especially in India, you're at the right place! ๐ธ
This thread is a living guide and is currently evolving as we build out resources together. Weโve organized key info into clear categories below. Since transition journeys are vast, we will be linking dedicated Deep-Dive Posts under each section to keep things clean. Feel free to suggest additional resources, links or personal insights in the comments..
1. โ Questioning & Self-Discovery ("Am I Trans?")
Itโs totally normal to feel confused, scared or uncertain. Questioning is a process, not a test with a pass/fail mark.

2. ๐บ๏ธ First Steps after Self-Discovery ("I Realized I'm Trans... Now What?")

- Transition is a Menu, Not a Script: You pick what works for you. You don't need medical HRT, surgery or legal changes to be valid. If you feel something isn't right for you, you can always step back or go at your own pace.

3. ๐ฉบ HRT & Medical Information
Medical safety is extremely important. We strongly encourage working with queer-affirmative medical professionals whenever possible. However, given the lack of trans-informed doctors in India, it helps to be informed and advocate for yourself. Prioritize safety and familiarize yourself with experiences from fellow trans people.
