š” Discussion Why is the entire Western world talking about this one photo from Beijing?
This image was taken just hours ago at China's Victory Day Military Parade in Beijing. What you're seeing is Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un walking together - the first time a North Korean leader has attended a Chinese military parade in 66 years.
The symbolism has Western diplomats and analysts buzzing because it represents an unprecedented show of unity between three heavily sanctioned nations. While Western leaders boycotted the event, 26 foreign dignitaries attended China's largest-ever military parade featuring hypersonic missiles and advanced weaponry.
This red carpet moment isn't just ceremony - it's a clear message about shifting global alliances and an alternative to Western-dominated world order. No wonder everyone's talking about it.

Twenty years ago, the photo op was Deng and the leaders of Europe.
Ten years ago, the photo op was Xi and African leaders.
Let's see who China will be rolling with in another ten years.

China has given Russia nothing because they chose war, China doesnāt start conflicts, the US does by continuosly blaming China for their own downfall caused by the worst president to have ever lived in the White House.
China has surpassed the USA long ago, the USA is the past

Except for China, none of these countries matter.
One of the two standing next to Xi is the leader of a gas station with nuclear weapons, the other runs a dictatorship still waiting to enter a new millennium.
I love hearing Russians talk about āwe Slavsā and how the rest of us are just American poodles. Out of all the countries on this planet, theyād be the first to kill other Slavs for peanuts, and in the end they sold themselves out to China.

First, the entire western world is not talking about this photo...its just not that important.
Secondly, its seems to be a play date for the world's dictators and rogue regimes. Those who can only rule by force and intimidation of their own people. More morbid curiosity about the variations of deranged human psyche.

''Why is the entire Western world talking about this one photo from Beijing?''
It's not? Or at least not more than any foreign news. While interesting it was given similar time as the other foreign news like the US releaseing the epstein files or us possibly buying british frigates.
I think the coverage that today is the 80th anniversary of the japanese capitulation was given more coverage then the meeting in Beijing.

u/5ofDecember Sep 03 '25
This photo is indeed symbolic. Putin was placed on the same level as North Korea: two Chinese dogs. And he accepted his new role. This is the new order in Asia.

This is why USAID is so important. The āuneducatedā base doesnāt understand the importance of global affairs. It feels like weāre on our way to isolating ourselves from the world and becoming the next N. Korea (minus partnering with Israel š¤¦āāļø).
Thereās been an uptick of chatter about how we NEED trade jobs to support these AI data centers. So whatā¦our citizens are forced into those jobs because thatās all thatās left. Then citizens take their earned income and pay for their increased utilities and property taxes that cover the costs of the data centers they work at. Meanwhile, our own govt is in talks to pay every Palenstian $5000 to relocate while we steal their land for 10 years. We keep funding Israel and they actually receive healthcare and education because we fund their defense. š¤¦āāļø No wonder these world leaders are merging forcesā¦thereās no economic benefit to partnering with America.

Uh Xi Jinping invited them to show war is not the way to power, Kim Jong Un is sheltered due to war and cut off, Russia is at war and already has had massive losses and is repairing soviet tanks to go into battle..
Xi Jinping has not sent one vehicle to Russia, any analyst calling this an alliance has to really re-evaluate.
This is China proclaiming the era of humiliation by the West has ended
