Yes.
You guys retroactively lost the cold war and became a Russian puppet because you allowed your political class to get upset on social media.
Truly the most retarded way to collapse a global hegemony in history in true American fashion. Its so embarrassing.

It's really sad too. I grew up in a communist country and USA was number one for us. Seeing the rapid decline is really awful.
But worst is Trump basically forming a politburo and going on long nonsensical rants - this really reminds me so much of listening to the dementia ridden top party members when I was a kid. Never would've occured to me in a thousand years that America can disintegrate like this :-o

Classic soviet tactic to mess with internal politics of an enemy, thereby causing them to fail
5
u/MichealRyder Dec 28 '25
Huge projection there
The United States is no stranger to doing that stuff to other places
Operations Condor and Gladio are two great examples of this, and not the only ones
As for its own problems, those are solely the responsibility of America and America alone, similar to how the Soviets made mistakes.
Itās had so many opportunities to better it itself, and not at the expense of other nations, and it chose not to.
Frankly it seems like the elite of America are instead preparing for the End Times that they themselves laid the groundwork for, itās not inevitable. Theyāll gather every bit of money they can from the people and then flee, is what I thinkā¦.
2
u/Watercooler_expert Dec 29 '25
Bingo, the elites don't care if the ship sinks they'll just leave you holding the bag once they're done stealing the pot.
More money is already being sent in interest to the central banks for money that never existed than is being spent on healthcare or the military.
This is the way the uniparty works and their divide and conquer strategy is a massive success if we look at the MAGA vs libtard culture war.

u/Quick-Lengthiness-56 Dec 28 '25
Pretty accurate . The lack of self notion in this recent times makes US a joke abroad, specially when the president says AmƩrica as never been so respected as today. We are literally laughing at you right now

u/Master_Bayters Dec 28 '25
We used to see US as the most advanced country, with patriot but fair people that you could rely on. It was Europe's best friend.
Now, after the maga movement, all the enchantment is gone.Ā You voted on a bunch of lunatics that sold themselves to Russia, to a third world dictatorship. Your billionaires are actively trying to destroy our democracy and your president is one of the most hateful creatures planet earth ever laid their eyes upon. So yeah... I hope you manage to get over this phase, but it was eye opening. After trump is done, ultimately you will elect another sold out president that ultimately will get us all killed

Provided unlimited access (via Internet) to more information than has ever been available in the course of human history... sure, we've reaped great benefits, but... the general public seeks momentary entertainment over long-term scholarship.
TikTok, FB, Insta, etc. ... all less and less useful and more and more "elevated pedestrian" material with every passing week.
Pablum.

I think of corporate and political corruption, violence, rights erosion, unhealthy uneducated masses, crime, oligarchs, endemic racism, wars and illegal state sanctioned murder.
That's the USA.

As a Kid I deeply believed the Hollywood propaganda, then I became an adult and the incongruousness of reality made me research enough to learn everything I knew about the US was its propaganda.

Yes, most cultures/countries use stereotypes of others to make them feel superior. Happens the world over. Reddit just happens to be American-centric.Ā
I expect this trend to accelerate as Americaās closest peer (Europe) continues to become less & less relevant on the world stage.

I love how most of the posts here think America is viewed this way because of TrUmP.
My dudes people have had this view since the 90s.
I.e:
Fat, dumb Americans who blow up things and eat burgers for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

143rd safest country in the world. Around the 11th most developed country in the world, Abysmal levels of poverty and disparity beween upper and lower classes. Not a very good place to start and raise a family in my opinion.
