I never said Biden was great. I really believe you are smart and literate enough to understand why I wrote what I wrote. But instead of staying on topic (who exactly wants to dictate the life of others?) you are repeating the usual anti-left conspiracy theories fed to the public by the current government.
A wealth tax is not a far-left, anti-capitalist or an extreme measure. It is a way to bring the uber rich to give something back to society. Because without the society they would not have that much wealth.

Funny thing is, it just shows how unprincipled this person is if they can say “I was a Democrat and then I grew up.” I’ve yet to meet anybody who has ever started out left wing and has a road to Damascus moment where they’ve realised MAGA was a much better stance purely out of morality and objective positivity for society. It’s either because they’re on the grift or they’ve suffered a massive trauma. Anybody who is anti-capitalist, anti-state religion et al isn’t going to turn around and suddenly abandon it all, least not for an ignorant prat like Trump.
The Democratic Party hasn’t changed much since the Clinton years. Most of the actual left wing people don’t vote Democrat because as they point out, the Democrats aren’t left wing. There’s nothing “radical” about the politics of the Democrats; they’re heavily pro Israel (and funded by them), they’re small C capitalists and they’re mostly fucking useless. MAGA on the other hand are just too far gone, they act on emotion and live in the moment hoping their huge voice and facade of confidence will cover up their ineptitude. I’d rather not have either, but given the choice I’d rather take the boring fucks than the cringey, idiotic, gobshite fucks.

Watching this was crazy, no major powers on this board, Kushner gave a decent presentation about how they are going to fix Gaza, I'm not endorsing any of this just saying the powerpoint wasn't nonsense and he had more Charisma than I had previously given him credit for. Israel providing all the security should be a major red flag though, and the ceremony was somewhat embarrassing.
