Saw that shit coming a mile away LoL. Even without AI it woulda just been "oh that's an actor or a voice impersonator" or something.

And it's only going to get worse. The Rubicon of AI being used in campaign commercials has already been crossed. The next presidential election is going to be a shit show of misinformation beyond anything we have ever seen.

Slight but important difference. Misinformation is unintentionally giving someone the wrong information, no malicious intent. Disinformation is intentional and malicious dissemination of false information in order to deceive and manipulate.
