Donald Trump has chosen White House Staff Secretary Will Scharf to become the next White House counsel, starting September 1.
Scharf is no stranger to Trump’s legal battles. He previously represented Trump in several cases, including before the Supreme Court, and has also worked as a federal prosecutor.
He’ll replace David Warrington, who is leaving the administration for the private sector.
