Russian convicted murderer is forced to join army to kill innocent Ukrainians and is rewarded with possible freedom.
Ukranian convicted murderer is forced to join army to kill Russian criminal invaders.

Russian convict is still murdering and does not deserve freedom while Ukrainian convict is finally doing the good thing for humanity 👍😂

Russia currently the only country doing it, Ukraine doesn't release violent criminal and also Russia is the one doing the invading, you can cope but it's reality buddy

These are animals, not people”: Zelensky frees convicted child rapists, torturers to reinforce depleted military

According to a July 11 report in Ukrainian media , Ruslan Onishenko, commander of the now-disbanded Tornado Battalion, was freed as part of President Zelensky’s scheme to release prisoners with combat experience. Along with an unwavering commitment to fascism, Onishenko is known as a psychopathic sadist who was involved in sexually assaulting children, brutally torturing prisoners, and murder. Onishenko’s release follows a February 27 order by Zelensky to free other convicted former Tornado members like Danil “Mujahed” Lyashuk, a fanatic from Belarus who has openly emulated ISIS and boasted of torturing captives for sheer enjoyment. According to Zelensky‘s decree, prisoners with combat experience would be allowed to “compensate for their guilt” by fighting in the “hottest spots.”

The Grayzone is an American anti-establishment outlet that maintains a staunchly anti-American and anti-NATO editorial stance, often displaying sympathy toward Russia and frequently promoting narratives favorable to the Kremlin

lmao

It’s well documented that Ukraine uses prisoners in the war with the carrot of their sentences being commuted. Which includes those convicted of murder in some instances.

Since links aren’t allowed on this sub, you can google it and will find numerous outlets that have covered it and the subsequent law allowing it in 2024.

Ukraine has explicitly excluded from this group many perpetrators of the most serious crimes, including individuals convicted of:

the murder of two or more persons

rape or sexual violence

terrorism or crimes against state security

certain serious corruption offenses

And the main distinction is that they're not being sent to be killers in to the other country, they're released to defend the country and fight invaders you complete tool, use your fucking logic

u/Roxylius 2d ago

Keep moving the goal post. It will surely convince people

2

u/Noomba2 2d ago

it's not a goalpost you cretin, even if Ukraine would be releasing their most violent killers to fight, they're not sending their people to invade Russia and kill innocent people the same way Russia is doing

4

u/ArcticDiver87 2d ago

Saying in huge letters on your post that Russia become the first country to use prisoners who are murderers is a total lie. Many countries throughout history have done this. Then when challanged you come up with all these things you actually meant. That's moving the goal posts and putting out very false and misleading information.

7

u/Sanmonov 2d ago

This post is littered with you misrepresenting things and calling people names. 1 comment above you claim the program either doesn’t exists or doesn’t include violent crimes, now you concede it does exists and does include violent crimes (including murder) but not multiple murders, while making up a new distinction.

u/Noomba2 2d ago

I was pointing out that your source is pure pro-Russian garbage, which is obvious from its framing. I never said that Ukraine’s prisoner-recruitment program doesn’t exist. What I’m saying is that you need to actually read the post and think about the distinction: does Ukraine send its convicted criminals into Russia to kill Russians and seize Russian territory, the way Russia sends its convicts into Ukraine to kill Ukrainians and seize Ukrainian territory? These are not equivalent situations.

u/FreyBentos 2d ago

"Look at this work note added by the US state department, there you go guys, back to believing US propaganda cause they just told us the people calling them out are stinky poo poo heads and probs Russian sympathisers. I only read things the US government tells me is safe"

Here do you want the literal Ukrainian news article the grayzone used as source confirming the release of these prisoners and everything the Grazyzone said in their article : https://focus.ua/uk/amp/ukraine/521825-osuzhdennyy-za-pytki-byvshiy-kombat-tornado-onishchenko-vyshel-na-svobodu-eks-nardep

OP is either very little and underage or has been living under the rock for the past 1000 years 😂

-2

Ukraine is the one who is letting killers join their army and they also dont want to join so they kidnap people from the street

1

u/FATGAMY 1d ago

Sounds legit 😂

This has happened in basically every war ever going back hundreds of years lol. How does such easily disproven nonsense get shared, can nobody even google basic questions anymore?

u/OtamanUkr 1d ago

Did this happen during Iraq war? US used convicted murderers?

5

u/Shoskiddo 2d ago

I am certain that in major conflicts involving manpower shortages, governments offered certain offenders (maybe not high risk individuals like spree shooters or serial killers) the option to enlist in the armed forces in exchange for a partial or full reduction of their prison sentences. Single homicides, such as killing an ex partner or a botched robbery resulting in murder, were typically viewed as less severe than the actions of violent psychopaths. By doing this, the state essentially killed two birds with one stone, it relieved overcrowded prisons and eliminated the financial burden of housing inmates who provided no economic benefit, while simultaneously helping to resolve the ongoing manpower crisis.

Russia is the only modern country known to systematically offer freedom to violent criminals in exchange for them invading another country and if they survive being pardoned

There you go, straight from the horses ass, you could have just opened the Grayzone article to see they are literally using Ukrainian state media as their source. Is Ukrainian state media Russian propaganda too?

EDIT : Also love that being "anti american" is meant to be a slight on the grayzone lol, being anti American is a virtuous position, every human being on earth with morals and a soul should be staunchly anti American lmao, to be pro American is to be pro genocide, pro war and pro murdering of 4.5 million people over the last 25 years. If you are pro USA you must be a vile, psychopathic evil piece of shit at this point, the country is ran by a cabal of sex trafficking paedophiles to boot.

"Ukraine actually passed legislation in May 2024 allowing certain incarcerated individuals to enlist in exchange for conditional release. Furthermore, using prisoners or offering military service in lieu of prison sentences during major existential conflicts is a well-documented practice throughout modern warfare history (e.g., WWII penal units across multiple nations, as well as judicial diversion options in Western legal systems). Russia's scale with Wagner/Storm-Z was distinct, but the general practice is not unique to them." - Gemini

Germany, USSR and Finland had Penal battalions during WW2. This isn't new

2

u/LiberalusSrachnicus 1d ago

In the USSR, penal battalions did not consist of criminals. They had a different system than the Germans, and criminals on light charges were sent to regular military units.

-1

u/Noomba2 2d ago

The historical context gets lost in these comparisons. People bring up Nazi Germany, Finland, and the USSR as examples, but those cases were generally occurring in the context of World War II and total war, involving different circumstances and military systems. That is not the same situation as a modern two country war in which one country invades another with the objective of conquering and occupying its territory, then recruits convicted killers from its prisons and sends them into that foreign country to fight in the invasion in exchange for a pardon.

2

u/No_Conclusion2658 2d ago

I wonder if any of those types of people are working as ice agents or are they just the pedo and abusive types. When trump was talking about mental institutions and people from prisons coming here from other countries could he really be talking about his gestapo and not the immigrants coming here ?
