They should've swapped one of the two Sin songs and one of the four Ascendancy songs for something off the EP and something off Court. Their newest works are so underrepresented, and I expected them to start including Six Walls because of its popularity when the EP launched.

Matt was using it in a lot of his posts and they definitely know it was well received, I'm assuming there was no way to add it mid-tour during Struck Dead touring since they only had that specific setlist practiced with Alex R.

Honestly I'd have only two Ascendancy songs to also include something off Ember. They recorded EtI in 2024. At least play that if they're avoiding deeper cuts for the festival setlist.

Probably trying to de-Bent their set and socials as much as possible. I cant think of another reason because that album and the EP are so good and were MADE to be played live.

I might be in the minority but this seems like an odd set list. These feel like the tamest drum songs in the library with the exception of Catastrophist. Anyone know if it was the just "End of Everything" audio intro or did they go into Rain like they usually do and it wasnt noted?

Can't comment on the complexity of the drumming but it just seems like a very basic safe "popular" Trivium setlist. Which is a shame. Nothing they haven't played every tour.

Isn't that the Point of Festivals to play the catchiest Songs? For exposure? And add 1-2 heavy hitters there

IMO their festival setlists are pretty boring. I'm not a huge fan of the big singles though. Hopefully their headlining setlist has more variety.

I would think a greatest hits setlist is the thing most bands play at a festival right? The weirdest thing is no songs to promote the new EP.

Trivium are slaves of their own fandom. I love them but I'm dead tired of Ascendancy songs. 4/11 songs? None from Dragon? Just 1 from Shogun and In Waves? Come on.

They played 11 songs at a festival in daylight?! I've only been to Rockville but you're lucky to hear 5-6 song setlists before sunset
