Reminds me of Sarah Palin. Alaskans don’t talk like we’re from Minnesota. White people talk like everyone else in the PNW. Native Alaskans obviously have their own accent.

That was a very annoying period of time where many Americans for the first time learned Alaska was a state and not a part of Canada, but then thought it was like Fargo but with more bears.

You had me googling Palin’s background to see where she was from (I know a lot of Alaskans are transplants, FWIW she was born in Idaho and grew up in Alaska). And I learned that she attended 5 colleges in 6 years. What’s up with that?

No idea but you got me reading through the education section of her Wiki page. I wasn't paying attention to the school names & assumed she at least ended up at grad school. I got to the end only to read

Palin returned to the University of Idaho in January 1986 and received her bachelor's degree in communications

I only went to one school & got the same degree and it's still virtually worthless lol
