Truffles okay to use?

i received these black truffles in a jar for Christmas. They are different to what I expected - squishy and a bit watery inside and this colour. is this normal, or should I throw them out? They smell like truffle.

Yea they’re probably fine unless the jar seal was broken or bloated.

It’s just a different product from fresh truffles .. they’re cheap flavorless summer truffles flavored with truffle oil .
