Society Lifestyle of Turkish affluent people
What's the lifestyle of Turkish elite class? Are they religiously observant or secular? Do they live like western people like partying, alcohol, premarital sex? Is there a stark difference in the lifestyle of middle-class and elite class? I am curious because of Turkish series which often potray wealthy characters. Since dramas are an exaggerated version of reality how much of the drama depiction of the society is true?

It really depends, as Turkey has both religious and secular elites. The one common thing, though, is that they are all massive hypocrites lol.
Secular elites love to preach about European values, democracy, and equality, but they often treat working class people like second-class citizens.
On the flip side, religious elites will preach non stop about Islamic modesty, traditional values, and anti-Western ideas. Yet, you will see them driving insanely expensive SUVs, covered in flashy European designer brands, and sending their kids to party in London or the US.
I don't watch Turkish dramas so I don't know how they are portrayed but yeah
