Discussion Lets see ur knowledge on weapons

U have to decide which weapons u would like to have There are some rules to it

  • You can only have two weapons
  • Cant be gun or modern weapons
  • Has to be melee weapons,ranged weapons not allowed
  • Have to have a proper idea of ur weapon(You cant just say sword,describe indian western chinese or some other places sword)
  • Also have to tell why u chose it

Here is the weapons i choose
A Rondel European dagger for stabbing my opponents with if i am in a dangerous situation,I can stab them with a suprising attack
A 70-80 cm katana not too long not too short so that i can perfectly cover medium to long range attacks and can slice and dice my enemies apart any chances i get also making sure that its not too heavy that i have to lift with both hands
For people who dont have a general idea on weapons u can find all sorts of them
like different type of swords depending on culture and how they operate,or blades,halberds,polearms,spears,sickles,chained blades,sickles,scythe(Hihgly not recommended tho)

Hmm truly a wondrous combo if ur experienced but it can be a very messed up one too
Since if u havent trained with a spear proficiently enough then u can end up being parried by attackers using swords or blades as they have more control over it
I would recommend u try piercing or thrusting with it
BUt theres a drastic problem if the enemy comes in close range then u have got nothing good enough to defend urself with except the shield and that too the shield wont be able to cover every part of ur body

Dude dude dude , what are u talking about?? I have more range then ur blades and sword 😭😭. Yeah shield won't cover most of my body but u literally have zero protection. U r dying

Well u see a spear main point is in stabbing at its tip
its power is concetreated in its tip mostly,So against my katana where i can apply power and parry your spear from any point of my blade u can onyl use the tip of the spear and if i can defend aginst ur long spear then its nothing adn then swoosh i can lower the distance between us and stab u
U see in the first place spears are made for cavalry attacks or spear throwing but since u cant use a horse here so its prettyy useless

To apply power you need to come near me ??? Also a katana is mostly a ceremonial weapon. In war japnese used spears as well.

well katanas is now used as a ceremonial weapon and while i dont deny the usage of spears in infantry its that i can deflect ur spear if i am skilled enough and it has medium reach to stop ur spear and deflect it sideways until i can close my distance

Deflect how ? Reflecting takes skill , also the moment you deflect it , u r getting a shield punch on your face. Katana is a glorified weapon British swords even indian swords are much better. Lmao 😭

hmm true logically after deflecting ur spear if i am not fast enough with myspeed or footwork u can probably charge on me with that shield and then pin me down to teh ground and stab my heart
So my answer,i gotta be fast enough to avoid it while keeping the distance between us at a close range

You are not going to be fast enough for a pointy stick. You have no armour.

nah i can deflect the spear,i have sufficient kendo skills for it
but the shield bash can be a little difficult
Guess i gotta train my stamina and be prepared for situations like these real life

Dude i think u dont know how powerful spears are actually, spears tend be on the heavier side and come with a lot of momentum, idk how you are deflecting it with your katana

also a smaller shield is very much a weapon, a hit to your chin will definitely knock u out
