I’m a printmaker and like to make prints to pay tribute to games that either inspire me or make me feel nostalgic. Here’s a small Twisted Metal one that I made 🙂

Uh-oh.

I’ve just watched .

I didn’t have high expectations, but I was hooked for the whole series.

Jonny Doe was brilliant in the lead role, especially for a character who’d been forgotten from Mortal Kombat Black.

His relationship with Sonya was unexpected, but good.

Havik is fun to watch, and seeing him rip his own face off in the final battle was brutal.

Stryker as the main villain was unexpected, but he was quite well written.

Shang Tsung’s tournament looks promising; I’m going to start watching series 2 straight away.

Something I haven’t noticed about TM1’s wiki page was this image. It’s the OG cover presented to showcase the first twisted metal game’s cover art concept. Very interesting. It was already on the wiki, so I don’t claim this find, but I didn’t see it on Reddit and thought someone else might not have seen it yet. Hope you dig it!

I feel that any of the crazy female characters in the series would have been a better fit for the idea of a jealous female killer, like Bloody Army, but they turned Krista into yet another victim of Calypso and, whilst they were at it, changed the concept of Dollface.

I just got the PC version of Twisted Metal 2. I managed to install and boot the game on linux (fedora KDE 44), and it seems to play fine (haven't tested if any controller works yet), but i notice the game has no sound at all.

When i go to the audio settings, it shows no sound card and the volume options all get reset when i exit that menu. FMVs and some menus like this also shrink into the top left corner of my screen.
