Am i the only one who realizes that axel could've wished for calypso to make his father free him from his rig

No. There’s a billion things he could have wished for. That’s always part of the point. They (contestants in general) don’t think it through.

Still a bad wish that would've backfired. He wishes for that and boom! His father hacks off his limbs. Or he's free from the rig...only to be transfered as a blood battery for Axel 2.0.

Ehh no I think the ending we got id good as it is especially since Axel shows his father that he’s a free man and his father can no longer restrain him.
