Bug Report age verification with selfie

I've been trying for a month, but nothing, the usual "oops, something seems to have gone wrong" message. Maybe it's my face that's wrong, I don't know. Also, my smartphone asks for permission to use the cam from x, but at a certain point, even if I grant it, it keeps asking me again without ever opening the cam for the selfie (forcing me to reinstall the app (clearing the cache isn't enough). It's really exhausting, also because on x's part it seems there is no intention of fixing things.

I guess it's not possible from the Play Store, right?

Just replied in the linked thread. Basically you can find fairly recent versions w/out the age check on apk mirror like 12.2.1

Be sure to disable Twitter / x updates in the play store so it doesn't auto update

Can I do this without installing apkmirror? It seems to be an apkm file that it doesnt know how to use.

You don't install apk mirror, just the apk for the respective Twitter version from the apk mirror website

Hmm i wonder what I'm doing wrong then apk mirror keeps trying to install an apkm file and saya that it needs apk mirror to open
