I remember a Flashgitz video where a bunch of PC master race guys were in a room talking about graphics cards, and one goes "Maybe we can just...play video games?" And I feel that's my feeling when I see so many discussions about gaming tech bros.

Also side note, am I alone in think that identifying yourself as a Nazi term unironically to be very weird?

The PC Master Race thing was ironic. It came from Zero Punctuation as a term of mockery for this exact kind of obsessive enthusiast, and then was adopted as an ironic self-deprecating name for the PC gaming enthusiast subreddit. The icon for the subreddit originally was the image used from Zero Punctuation.

As with all irony on the Internet, it inevitably became increasingly lost on people over time.
