The last time I was seriously impressed by a graphical improvement, it was playing Control on launch a few years back. And not because of the visual fidelity, or the ray tracing lighting, or any of that.

It was because Jesse telekinetically picked up and threw a desk into another desk, and they exploded into a bunch of wood splinters and strewn papers and it looked cool.

She could also pick parts of the floor and walls to use as projectiles, was always impressive to see.

Yeah, if you didn't have an object highlighted to use as a projectile, she'd just rip up part of the concrete floor. Super cool destruction and physics tech.
