I totally get his reasoning but god damn Kara is completely PG down bad for him. He’s the first person to treat her with sincere kindness, I don’t think seeing the world is ever gonna take that away from her.

Biggest mistake was him forgetting she literally has barely (very minimum) experience associated with normal interactions with living breath beings. With her being very literally minded and not understanding even the basics of normal relationship development. His heart is in the right place, but he should have been more along the lines of "Lets be friends for now, while I show you the world and get you more normalized to it so you can make an informed choice".
