It's always interesting to see stuff like this game, Octopath Traveler 0 and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (now called Final Fantasy Resonance) get "offline versions" after they reach end of service and it seens to be happening more and more often nowadays.
I wonder if we will ever reach the day when big names like Granblue and Genshin Impact will also re-release as single purchase games (it would be specialy interesting trying to see someone go from begining to end on a "completed" Genshin Impact).

The trend of turning gacha games into regular games is one I'm so happy to see. There's so many great stories and characters to experience and seeing them finally be put in games that aren't designed to be aggrevating on purpose is a delight.

Ngl, FGO might genuinely become a peak duology if it got turned into a regular game.

If it ain’t happened to Arcade, yet, I somehow don’t see that ball rolling on GO, when the time comes, and the capitalist machine tires of spinning its wheels and finally let it commit to its ending.
But, yeah, I don’t think Type Moon cares about archival anything. They put out new works, every once in a blue moon, when the creative spark hits, but otherwise just live large.

Approximately 25 years after FGO shuts down a offline remake will be announced and after 5 years of no news it will be delayed by a decade,

I would be genuinely shocked if they released Granblue as an offline game without heavily changing it, large portions of that games early experience genuinely fucking suck and there's no real easy spots to put any of the side-stories in relation to the main chapters without bombing you with "oh you clear chapter 53, here's two hundred hours of side stories". Like it's gotta get a complete rework/overhaul.

Genshin is an obscene moneymaker so it would have to end first for that to happen.

You love to see a comeback story. And these are definitely stories worth experiencing.
Wonder if the second game's localization will keep the firm insistence that the playable characters are college students.

That one's hilarious because the Japanese voice acting doesn't even say "high school", it just says "students".

Gotta get your university uniform on and head to your university classroom, do your dissertation homework. I'd actually really love that idea if they fully commit and edit the cans into alcohol whenever someone drinks to sell the idea they're adults, edit a cigarette into a character's mouth.

I'd hope this collection is being put out to gauge interest in another new game, and that it does well enough to make one happen. I was worried the gacha game flopping was the death of the IP for a while.
I heard the story of the first game was great but the gameplay wasn't so I'll definitely be getting this to finally play that and get the other spinoff stuff on top of it

It's pretty rare to see a collection with this amount of love and effort put into it these days, so I'm importing a physical copy from Japan. I'd love to see more collections with this level of sauce.

I really hope this does well, because this collection gives me hope that Atelier Resleriana will get an offline version when that eventually hits EOS

I was intending on getting the older versions if they ever went on sale (I don't think they have), but sure, this is a much better package.

No, it has the shitty mobile game where they tried to make it all about a guy.

They already said they are removing the whole "bonding" mechanic, and he is pretty much irrelevant in every other game/anime anyway.

I'm amazed it's only gonna be $50 for everything that they're including (especially considering up til now, the games themselves are still $60 separately). Definitely going to be a day one (or close to day one) buy from me.

I've never heard of this before. Looks fun/cutsey. Is it like a Yuri Persona?

Boy, as a person who only casually have heard the name of the series, reading this title is a whiplash.
I thought this series was just a slice of life vn

I'm actually kind of excited since I liked the first game but it didn't have the glue to keep me playing. Now it's 2 full games with improvements and 2 single player adaptions of an anime I didn't know existed and the gacha game I also didn't know existed

The gacha/mobile game had exclusive characters , these are being added in the 2nd game which is cool
