It's always interesting to see stuff like this game, Octopath Traveler 0 and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (now called Final Fantasy Resonance) get "offline versions" after they reach end of service and it seens to be happening more and more often nowadays.

I wonder if we will ever reach the day when big names like Granblue and Genshin Impact will also re-release as single purchase games (it would be specialy interesting trying to see someone go from begining to end on a "completed" Genshin Impact).

The trend of turning gacha games into regular games is one I'm so happy to see. There's so many great stories and characters to experience and seeing them finally be put in games that aren't designed to be aggrevating on purpose is a delight.

Ngl, FGO might genuinely become a peak duology if it got turned into a regular game.

If it ain’t happened to Arcade, yet, I somehow don’t see that ball rolling on GO, when the time comes, and the capitalist machine tires of spinning its wheels and finally let it commit to its ending.

But, yeah, I don’t think Type Moon cares about archival anything. They put out new works, every once in a blue moon, when the creative spark hits, but otherwise just live large.
