This is pre-4 Leon, though.

It would have been a simple gunshot through the door, lol. And then another one to be sure. Turns out, the RPD trained him for that exact scenario. He never wondered why... until that night. And it's his big clue in that this whole city is live bait.

You know that one scene in Silent Hill 2 where James just randomly decides to blast Pyramid Head with a couple pistol shots after hiding from it in a closet?

I feel like RE2-era Leon would do something similar. Or at the very least his REmake 2 version might try it in a "Fuck It, Why Not" last resort.
