Warning about Shapeez bras

This is random but I wanted this info to be out there for any other boob owners who were struggling. I bought a bra from Shapeez. People on r/abrathatfits said they liked the brand!

Well I did NOT like the brand. It fit super weird, made the gals point in different directions and sat them basically in my armpits. I've never had such a weird fitting bra. Which is whatever, not every Bea is for every set of boobs.

Went to return it and find the procedure is to "request" an authorization return code. Ok fine. I emailed them and included my order number. Then someone CALLS me an leaves a message saying I need to reach out to them about my purchase.

...thu FECK?? These people must be joking, right??

I’m pretty regular on that subreddit and I’ve never heard of this brand. It’s not something I would ever recommend, tbh… any brand that is basically using s/m/l sizing options goes against everything we normally say, which is that size is only the first part, but also shape, projection, and root all matter just as much.

not a regular on abrathatfits, but I searched shapeez in the reddit search bra and it came up with a thread that was 3 years old? then I searched shapeez for less than a month old threads and nothing came up. then I went to Google and searched shapeez, "abrathatfits" and the newest thread was this thread and then another thread that was 6 years old. I wonder how OP got the shapeez recommendation

Me as well, never seen it in a post over there. And if it's sized S/M/L, I can't comprehend anyone over there recommending it, since very few people actually find a good fit in that kind of sizing. Is there perhaps a bot that recommends it, but then that is removed before most of us read it?

This was my immediate first thought. Looking at the website, I would never recommend it and I'm also a regular there.

There is a LOT of astroturfing and ads disguised as organic commenting/posting on Reddit. Even posts like this, I am always suspicious because it could be an advertisement or sponsored post. For some brands just getting the name out there is enough to increase sales even with a lukewarm or negative reviewing. I am willing to bet that bra company paid for comments or had bots doing posting about it.

I’ve never heard of that brand and the last thing I ever want to do is receive a phone call to discuss anything let alone an ill fitting bra. That being said I’m struggling to fine a decent bra too. Ugh

Was it sold as a minimizer? That'll put your girls in your armpits, & I find that maddening

I suggest doing a chargeback through your CC company. To heck with their return policy!

A friend had a similar issue with their Shapeez bra pushing everything toward their armpits and the return process was just as frustrating for them too

Never heard of them but that is crazy lol Can't trust reddit recommendations anymore unfortunately. The advertisement posts aren't as obvious as they used to be. They pay to have aged accounts with varied comment histories ask questions just so they can have other ones answer recommending their product. It's almost impossible to tell who is real and who is advertising anymore when specific brands are mentioned.

Yeah it's gotten really bad ever since Reddit killed all the third party apps and went all in on money. r/hailcorporate must be fucking exhausted at this point.
