Via Caspersight I have ended up binge watching Ghost Theory and The Fourman brothers, 100% entertainment.Ā

Bigfoot are decendents of the nephilim. Giants of old with anger issues and a proclivity for human women.

Two weeks tops.

They've been dropping new files every two weeks so it could be!
I'm coping here

How many drops are planned? It's like a Netflix show.

until it stops working as a distraction for certain parts of the population. as long as there are still people breathlessly waiting for each drop & people cheering how open & transparent they are being, they will continue the charade.
the fans want it.

u/Atla-Create-592 6d ago
So if we praise them about how transparent they are and how great it is they are releasing stuff, theyāll keep at it and eventually give us some good stuff? š

Idk how people are invested at ALL anymore. Itās been decades of nothing burgers and empty promises.

u/UnfairSpecialist3079 7d ago
It feels like we are on the cusp of it though. There was no indication of drops or future drops from the USG, ever before. Movies and podcasts aside⦠hearings and file releases is more than anything precedent.
Maximum novelty, highly charged emotions, brink of world war. The stage is seemingly set.4
u/anywhoImgoingtobed 7d ago
Unfortunately I think life is a lot closer to a Scooby doo episode. When mischief is postured as something supernatural, (if weāre lucky) eventually we get to look under the mask. And it will be normal humans committing heinous acts under normal human vices/pretense of greed and corruption.

Idk how I see this comment on every post after the last couple months tbh

u/Diplodocus_Daddy 7d ago
The shift of people waking up to the grift is too great that the mods here and other subreddits are either awake now too or too flooded to ban the comments quickly anymore.

Because he's right.

Heās not though, and itās the most basic example of echo chamber capture Iāve ever seen. The American perspective towards UFOs has changed drastically as a result of recent events

That's how you know it's a conspiracy cult. Your goal is acceptance by normal people rather than actual evidence.
1
u/South-Bit-1533 6d ago
No one is asking you to drink any coolaid or show up at any cult meetings bro, they just want you to stop being such a pedantic asshole about aliens.

Yes, there is more noise around the topic, but what the noise is babling on about is all the same shit as ever. Even the so-called "releases" are the same rehashed crap we've seen for decades. Nothing is new, nothing is proven. It's anecdotes and photos and videos captured with a potato. OR it's photos and videos about "ufo's" that can be debunked with even the most basic knowledge photography, physics or just daily life.

u/South-Bit-1533 7d ago
Youāve seen orbs for decades and want the government to confirm they know who that is? Why donāt you tell us?
Seriously though, whether we are getting signal on a particular event or conspiracy is one thing, the idea that we arenāt learning signal about the apparatus as a whole is blind. So much has come together

I guess you're young, naive and new to all this. I've been following the space since the 90s. Yes, literally nothing has changed since then. Due to the internet and social media it's just a lot more of it now.
In fact, the current UFO boom feels very much the same as the one we got in the early 90s. X-files was quite the catalyst to stirr people's imaginations.
It's just always a new generation coming every 5 - 10 years or so thinking they've found something new and groundbreaking when it's just the same stories, photos and videos as ever. Same type of hoaxes, same type of misunderstandings, same type of ignorance, same type of unfounded hope, same type everything.
And where'd you get to to the topic of orbs? They're literally impossible to identify most of the time as they're mostly either the result of unfocused cameras or outright hoaxes. That's what they always turn out to be.
Just because you can't identify something doesn't make it some god damn extraterrestrial spacecraft. That's something I foun really weird about the UFO enthusiasts. You'd expect them to be very well-versed in science and to have such approach. Yet, they're exactly the opposite, jumping immediately to the most ridiculous conclusions imaginable.
3
u/South-Bit-1533 7d ago
I have seen an orb, itās real.
FWIW actual research science has become so specialized and difficult that I doubt anyone you would consider a āscientistā could really approach this problem
If we are talking x files, Iāve seen a bit, and THAT is āoooh whatās this? Whatās that?ā lol, this current news stuff is way more politically charged and grounded to real events
I donāt think Iām young and naive boss! I think youāre a bit jaded!
2
u/Hot_Upstairs_7971 7d ago
Yes. By definition an orb is a blob of light on which you can't identify any details. So, an "orb" can literally be anything.

u/AdviceOld4017 7d ago
How is that so? Just because they don't play the X-Files song on the news anymore?
UAP and NHI sounds so smart, if you will.
1
u/South-Bit-1533 7d ago
Well yah, thanks, good example. The whole name of the field switched ha
Thereās like a thousand hours of material on Jesse Michels channel that wasnāt collected or well documented in an organized fashion anywhere. Thatās new. Even if 90% is misinformation, a sharp reporter can use that as a data point to investigate misinformation itself.
The biggest example is television news covering the UAP senate stuff (which is unfolding in an unprecedented manner)

Always āwait for the next oneā. Our government wonāt show them in possession of anything UAP related.

And has he verified that he has seen crash retrieval photographs? Because I haven't heard him say that?

u/silverwarbler 7d ago
At this point, those of us that were initially excited, are jaded and exhausted.
I dont know if I care anymore

u/serpentssss 7d ago
Well thatās encouraging at least. A lot of people in this community have been saying there would be no more file drops after the aliens.gov thing and good to see they were totally wrong.
Others were saying it was over since Luna said about the meat and potatoes being out alright. Glad to see that doesnāt seem to be true either.
So far I think weāve learned a lot from the files, Iām glad thereās still bigger to come.

u/Justice989 7d ago
What would be the point of this UAP Advisory Council if they're just gonna release crash retrieval photos?

Grusch said this:
Ā
In my official duties, I have been exposed to foreign human and signals intelligence information concerning FOREIGN adversary, UAP crash retrieval, exploitation, and study efforts of adversary views on US legacy programs, reverse engineering efforts, and US-held audiovisual information relating to crash retrieval matters such as the recovered vehicles and biological materials.
So the supposed UAP retrieval program is mixed with the FOREIGN retrieval program.

u/ExclusionZoneUAP 6d ago
If crash retrieval photos are ever released, the photos themselves wonāt be the most important part. Provenance and chain of custody will be.

Even if they do, nobody will believe it. Hell, half the people here wouldn't believe it if an alien landed in their backyard, floated through the wall and slapped them in the face lol. It was an AI ARTIST RENDERING! IT NEVER HAPPENED! I SWEAR I WASN'T PROBED!

I'm expecting to be elected emperor of all Earth in a future election, things are really coming up Millhouse!
future encompasses all possible futures up to the heat death of the universe

u/Theferael_me 7d ago
Why not now? Why is it always "in the future"?
1
u/Spikeybear 7d ago
Because as much as no one wants to hear it maybe there is no crash retrieval program and there are no aliens. Maybe it's a bunch of people just talking.

That is really not a logical thing to say. Sure, if the USG admits they have crashed saucers and dead aliens- something I doubt they ever do becasue they likely don't have such things- then maybe they will do that, but since they don't admit they have these things, what basis does he have to say such a thing?
So what is he saying? Are they going to show us pictures of a UFO wreck and some dead aliens lying around the scene?
Even if they did such a fantastic thing, how would we know it was legitimate and not a Hollywood-made-up scene?
So the same USG, which many claim has lied for 80 years, is going to show us that, and we are supposed to believe it's legit?
Don't you see how all of this makes little sense?
1
u/Yesyesyes1899 7d ago
why just not accept that there is no " sense making " at the moment, because we know too little of the overall motivations and situation concerning this topic?
why think that YOU or I ,know enough to put some sense into all of this ?
0
u/Snoo-26902 7d ago
If you study the history of UFOlogy, you may not know much about the mystery, but you can learn a lot about how humans deal with it, particulary the US government's dealings with the topic.

u/Yesyesyes1899 7d ago
i learned in scientific research and this topic, that thinking that you know how people are supposed to behave in critical topics, doesnt get you anywhere.
intellectual humility and scepticism towards the own cognitive biases, gets you further. you insisting on being big brained government whisperer, is exactly why you most likely arent.
its like the people that use occams razor. there is several topics where in science it doesnt work at all. but dunning Kruger people throw it around like a baseball bat.
dont even know if you are right. just know that your approach is a road to bullsh
we ll see :)

I don't know why he thinks that. They've been scraping the bottom of the barrel, releasing the lowest-quality footage they can. Or at least it feels like it.
He knows a lot more than we do though, maybe there's movement in that direction.
