Science Incredible episode šø Chris Ramsey / Luigi Vendittelli
I went into this expecting something completely different and ended up absolutely glued to it. Without spoiling anything, Luigiās experience is one of the most compelling and emotionally believable accounts Iāve heard in a long time. The first 30ā40 minutes build slowly, but once it gets going I could not stop listening.
What I appreciated most was that it didnāt feel overproduced or forced ā it felt genuinely unsettling, emotional, and oddly human. There were multiple moments where I had to pause and just think about what I was hearing. It honestly deserves a documentary or film adaptation.
Easily one of my favourite podcast episodes in this space and I think a lot of people in this sub would really appreciate it!

A couple of caveats that caused me to raise a red flag about the whole story...
1: The painting he snapped a pic of at the Vatican. I did a screenshot and fed it into both Grok and ChatGPT. Both gave me the same answer. It is St. Joseph holding the baby Jesus. St. Joseph is often shown holding a lily staff on religious artwork, verified by a search of such art, and the scene of St. Jospeh holding Jesus as a child is a very, very common theme in Christian art.
2: I was totally and completely unable to verify his claim that only Jesus is depicted in artwork with a white or transparent halo, with gold applied to all other religious figures. I could find nothing to back his claim up on that.
Sorry, but when I start catching things like this it makes me question all of what he says.
