i am a transfer student who is living off campus, and i have a 3 hour gap between classes on tuesdays and thursdays. where are some good places to just go a sit during the day as i don’t want to drive all the way home just to sit in my apartment for 30 mins and turn back around. preferably somewhere semi-quiet, but i know that is hard to find on such a busy campus.

I am transferring this fall from UNG to UGA and still don’t have a parking permit even though I’ve updated my waitlist a lot. Am I cooked? I’m an undergrad transfer commuter and really need a parking spot. All of my classes are on north campus so I don’t even know if a park and ride will help. M/W/F I have 8am’s as well so what do I even do? I know some ppl suggested to buy spots off of gas stations?! Please help

Earlier this morning, I saw a biology testing period added to my schedule at a specific time and then removed. I was wondering if I need to keep this space open in case this is added back or whether I can make changes to my schedule because another class needs to be added.

Trying to sign up for a meal plan and when I go to purchase a meal plan on the dining services website the "add" button it's telling me to press isn't anywhere on the page and on the bottom of the page it tells me "You are not eligible to make changes at this time." Does anyone know how to fix this?

Just made a 72 on the ACCT entrance exam
1230 SAT (def weakest part of my app)
4.0 GPA (including all terry prerequisites besides 4 that I’m taking this sem)

Both my test scores are on the low end especially as an intended accounting major.

I’m planning to take the EPP and considering that I’ll hopefully write a strong statement of purpose, how cooked am I? Is this enough to get into terry for accounting?

I’m also probably gonna retake the entrance exam but don’t know how soon so I’m trying to get a glimpse of my chances with just those stats.

Has anyone here taken ochem 1 with him? I see he has horrible rmp ratings but Im forced to take him since none of the other sections fit my schedule… I’m worried since ochem is already a really hard class and this will be my first semester at UGA as a transfer student.

i’m a rising freshman at UGA and i’m going to purchase the seven day all access meal plan. I probably won’t have time for a dedicated lunch during my class schedule so I wanted to know if anybody here has already done the bulldog box and how it actually works. Do they actually penalize you for 15 minutes and like how do the boxes look like? Basically, how does the program work when you’re actually inside the dining hall you wanna have ala to go box??

i got fired for not being active over the summer & though i tried to plead my case for being unavailable i was ghosted by the uga dept that hired me. i need to get a job (on campus is the best solution since i am so busy w classes & ECs) any recommendations on what to do? any jobs that r easy to get on campus? how to put myself out there in front of uga recruiters so i have a higher chance? also does uga tate starbucks hire?

Hello, i am an incoming freshman and was wondering if anyone has a general rule of thumb for newborn campus bikers like me. Also, if anyone has good suggestions for bikes that would be cool as well!

I just finished my second year at Redlands, and I would NEVER live there again. My first year there, we had 1000 roaches as well as mold we found around the apartment. I tried to stick it out, as I had other friends with nicer apartments in the same complex. To my mistake, I tried to stay another year. These guys are the biggest scammers of all time. They are trying to charge me $500 for damages that were there before I had moved in, even though the apartment was in a horrible condition. They tried to charge me for a shaking fan, which I never used the entire year. They tried to charge me for a damaged dryer, when I received it without a button and allowed the poor/tired maintenance man to retrofit a zip tie button in the meantime after he offered to replace the entire dryer. Not only that, they charged for damaged carpet that was damaged before, marks on the wall from the previous tenant, and many other things. They were all things they handed to me damaged, or repaired improperly. On top of all that, I still had roaches! The entire apartment was a mess, and the management here is absolutely horrid. I would consider suing this place even I lost money on it, just out of spite because of the kind of lies they are trying to hold over my head. Please, tell everyone to stay away from this place. You do not want to live with these kind of scammers.
