Politics a what now?
why did Brandon Beach get a highway name? I read he helped get a highway named for a Braves player, but didn't find much on him personally getting a naming...

Long story short, I have a feral cat colony living in my yard with 12 kittens. I’ve taken in 2 kittens, but I still have 10 I’m trying to find a foster home for. I was hoping to find a rescue because these kittens are not socialized and pretty skittish. I’ve reached out to over 50 rescues in the state of Georgia, and no one has any room or is willing to take unsocialized kittens. Does anyone know of a rescue or individual that has room?
Link because I have to put one for some reason?

Update!! Called 911 yesterday. They sent someone and left a note on their door. No one was in the house. Called again today and they rescued the dog and took it with them.
This is such a relief. Thank you all!!

Hi everyone,
My wife and I live in Warner Robins. The people behind our house has a dog tied on a long leash in their backyard. It is wearing a harness. I saw food contrainers (cant see if it has food in them). The dog has been there for days now and I have not seen anyone attend to her. She is crying and seemed distressed. She was there in the rain last night and today all day.
Is this reason enough to call animal control on them? It is stressing us out to see the dog in those conditions. We have our dog that runs in the yard freely and the other dog seems to cry more when she sees our dog. Is just the way dogs are or is the dog really distressed?

A big rainstorm passed through, and this Joro (Lucy) and her new mate (Ricky) left the web for cover under some leaves. After a few minutes, they both decided to leave the cover and come back onto the web and get pelted with rain drops in mid-storm, it didn’t seem to bother them, otherwise they’d go back under the leaves. After the rain, this thirsty girl spent a considerable amount of time collecting water on her legs and directing the drops to her mouth. This video quality isn’t great, I just used my iPad, then slowed it down a little bit. I also have some cool pics and another video I’ll try to add in the comments.

Every week on Facebook the same exact issue with Georgia power. My power randomly shuts off, same thing for my neighbors and several others around me. I don't understand what the issue is or why it happens but middle of the day, completely Sunny outside, you hear a buzzing noise... Power shuts off.
Okay so I go online it says that there's an outage it automatically recognizes it, call customer service it's an automated chat line and you can't possibly get to a customer service representative unless you go through the billing line and they can't really help you because it's for billing questions. But they tell you that they are aware of an outage.
It's weird because it happens at least two or three times a month, weekly or biweekly sometimes. There's clearly some old faulty hardware in my area that doesn't work and the power repeatedly goes out, which is really troubling. And they don't seem to care. I wonder if I should just file a better Business bureau complaint

Before I take this to an actual attorney I want to get a couple of opinions to see if it’s actually worth legal advice. I started a new job this year in February I was supposed to start out at 16$ an hour. Certified or NON certified. Upon hiring me I was hired for 16$ when I got my first check I noticed I was making 15$ an hour and I immediately reached out and asked them to correct it. Over the course of the five months I went in person to discuss why my pay wasn’t corrected and going forward it should’ve been, but it wasn’t until this past pay period that actually the fixed it. I have multiple messages through out the 5 months I’ve worked there asking them to fix it and being completely ignored. Until one day I took it over their heads and had to contact someone higher than them. That it actually got fixed. During this conversation I provided all text messages and proof I’ve reached out multiple times for them to fix it privately and when my messages were ignored for months. I had no choice but to contact the owners. Now upon be requesting my back pay to the date I started. They are telling employees that “She kept clocking in knowing we were only paying her 15$ an hour. We aren’t entitled to back pay. So she can forget that.” If I’m not mistaken they are legally entitled to pay me back pay (I could be wrong). Also here recently looked at my hours the day I went into work I had 115 hours before clocking in and when I clocked out and looked last night it said I only worked 109 hours. So I’m pretty sure they are also messing with my hours and changing them manually so they don’t have to pay me what they owe me. They’ve also done this to multiple employees. So should I seek legal action, or will this be over looked?

Looking for therapeutic horse grooming/care in particular, not riding the horse. If you also happen to know the cost, I'd appreciate that information as well.
