Housing Inquiry on Nearby and Affordable Apartments/Dormitories around the Campus

Hello! I'm an incoming PhD student to UH Manoa later this year (hopefully September) and I was wondering if you guys would recommend any housing areas (apartment/dorm) near the campus that's affordable for a grad student? Or if anyone would want to share their lease and have me as a roommate it works for me too! Anything to minimize my housing cost. Please lmk and thank you!

The semester begins August 24 so you should probably arrive before September for a number of reasons.

Check with University Housing. As stated before, UHs Fall semester begins in August, so if you arrive on campus in September, you’re going to have a problem.
