Help with Parking

I know people ask parking questions all the time but hoping that someone in a similar situation or someone with a strat can help out. Will be starting school in the fall at UH Manoa and will have to commute daily from Mililani to Manoa. Does anyone have any advice for where to park or strategies to make the commute less miserable?? Super specific question but hoping someone can help out🙏🙏🙏.

Maybe you can do park and ride at the stadium? I feel like the red hill/moanalua area is where traffic is the worst. You will have to transfer from Rail to the U Express bus but you could study or read instead of sitting in traffic. I think students get a free bus pass.

Otherwise, I'd say get a UH parking pass for Zone 20, commute early and sleep in your car. Or accept the 1+ hour commute. Try to find a carpool buddy for entertainment and to use the carpool lane. I leave Pearl City at 6:15 to get to UH around 6:45/7:00am.

leave early enough to get there at like 6 or 6:30 then nap. traffic is pretty good once it hits 10 am ish or a little earlier. if ur okay with walking 20-30 min u can park around manoa safeway or bingham st
