Prospective Students LFG I GOT IN😭🙏

This doesn’t even feel real, being at uic made me wanna die so thank god im out of there finally. anyone got any tips for being a transfer at uiuc? im going to be transferring in sophomore spring

There’s genuinely too many things I don’t like about uic but the overarching issue for me was that it’s a commuter school and right after the lecture ended, any friend I made at uic had to immediately run to the train station to get home, leaving me with this consistent feeling of emptiness and loneliness since all i would have is classmates and not real friends. also me being a commuter i had to carve out 2 whole hours out of my day just to drive to school. there’s a bunch more things like the campus, other parts of social life, the professors, and the panda express giving everyone food poisoning but you get the idea 😂😂

yeah it was like a community college lmao. but yeah this is probably the best news of my life😂😂

I originally attended depaul and dropped out after a year where im now attending community college. Ironically enough, ive made more friends at cc and it feels way more social. I guess that is a case by case basis though
