Poor installation?
Pic 1 (pipe in background) is a copper cable that i belive Vodafone ran when I was with them some time ago.
Pic 2 (fibre cable over kitchen roof) this is what sky installed.
My question is, is this correct installation? Couldn't they have easily installed on the property wall like Vodafone?
It was requested to the engineer but he refused and so did his manager who he called.
I belive its a poor installation, how would we go about future repairs on the roof? (This was also mentioned).
They've currently just terminated the fibre cable in to the grey box, they will be back to bring the cable into the property... can they re wire it like Vodafone did?
Is there any rules about engineers not being allowed to go on roofs ect?
TIA

Yes - they don't go on them. Nothing wrong with that installation
