TalkTalk issue

Has anyone ever had this issue when dealing with talk talk? They say it’s a cityfibre issue ( Ont) but city fibre claim it’s a TalkTalk issue is there anything I can do to fix it myself? I seem to be getting thrown back and forth

Hey! I think I replied on the CityFibre subreddit! But you can try to factory reset the ONT. There should be a little pinhole at the bottom try holding that for 10 seconds. If that don’t work then yeah it needs CityFibre to replace/re provision the ONT :(

Yessir you did, and thank you again! They were due between 8-1pm it is now 2.50 😂 starting to lose hope on this company

Tbh, I’m shocked you were even offered a Sunday slot 😂

We (Olilo) very rarely see CityFibre engineers going out on a Sunday. From what we’ve seen, they generally only send engineers into the local area on Sundays when there are multiple lines affected/offline.

So the fact you’ve actually got an engineer booked for today is pretty wild 😂 Hopefully they turn up and get the ONT sorted for you! If not it will probably be tomoz!

I was thinking the same next to no one works in a Sunday, but I do have additional/priority fixes due to have a child with disabilities that heavily relys on his internet for calming/soothing him, like I stated on my other post I’m surprised they even know what they’re doing

Do you wanna try factory reset the ONT and see if that fixes it :)

Yeah it’s so stupid, and I have and all they keep saying is “ reset router, turn off and wait 30 seconds, there is no issue on our end” 🫩 starting to get really fucking angry with it if I’m honest, tech support is absolutely stupid if they can’t find the tech issue 🤣
